In some ways that study makes sense. However, I don't know if there is studies done in Africa. I mean many African countries are still under developed with shit loads of a problem but you don't hear about high suicide rates unlike places like Japan , South Korea or even some western countries. I remember reading some where that poor people have a less rate of suicide compare to rich people.

That article says in the usa the most likely suicide victim is an old, single unemployed white man who owns a gun. A black man with a gun is far more likely to kill another black man instead

It makes sense as such men have nothing to live for and have no responsibility. But why would a married white man raising a family do it? Only due to women issues. Not money issues as you don't solve financial problems suicide. You Only pass them to your children and wife, slong with grief and guilt. Only by dieing in an accident can you solve money issues. Assuming you have insurance.

The Asian scenario of asians offing themselves for not doing well at varsity is also illogical. Would you prefer to give your family grief over disappointment? Not every one will pass. If it was so, there would be too many graduates.

Horrible theory....

Since when are white men not apt to externalize blame? That has not been my experience since they often blame the government, minorities, white women, foreigners, Jews, Affirmative Action, quotas, the weather, and any and everything but themselves when they are failures. To say white men are less likely to do that is self-congratulatory nonsense.

Also, black men who are often brainwashed by religious dictate, tend to passively commit suicide by substance abuse, reckless and violent conflict (ie suicide by cop).

I actually see nothing wrong with suicide by those who are seeking an end to painful and expensive medical conditions or those suffering from end of life misery such as Alzheimer's or dementia. Pop culture and religion conspire to make it taboo however.
