Restore Deleted Posts

Is there a way to restore posts from banned users, this is a huge disservice to the community which will push the few remaining users to other active forums.

What deleted posts are you talking about? Banned users don't usually have all their posts deleted unless they're spam or advertising shit. The only other users who have had all their posts removed are those who request it personally and I can only think of one user who has had this done.

I don't know. What was the user name? But to answer your question: No. Deleted posts cannot be restored.

He may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but some of his posts are quite insightful.

Because I was surprised you were referring to someone from quite a while ago. I assumed you were talking about someone more recent. But Ghost edited his own posts to remove them and this was nothing to do with the administration or moderators.

He must have a very good reason to delete all his posts,
can you imagine editing 5900+ posts, this is some tedious tedious work.

I agree. I don't know what his reasoning was.

I have this belief that he wanted to reserve his posts for commercial use since he authored couple of books,
but if that is the case, he might as well be a little bit dumb because he is shooting himself in the foot.
All bad advertising is good advertising.

That's pretty cool. Do you have any links to any of his work? I'd check out what he has to say.
