Is it true the world is run by Monopolies and Cartels and there's no free enterprise?

Wow. While transferring files to my phone and hard drive, I listened to some lectures by G Edward Griffin, the author who exposed the federal reserve. What he said was very disturbing.....

He said that competition and free enterprise doesn't exist anymore in this world. Everything is a monopoly and cartel. Long ago the big corporations all made an alliance to protect each other and shut out all competition and fix prices so no one could undercut them and sell for less. They bought up the government so that the government could enforce their monopoly and cartel. And that's the reason why the rich class push for socialism and big government, because government is needed to enforce their monopoly so they don't get undercut by any competitors. And that why they push collectivism too, so everyone will submit to the monopoly and not try to usurp the upper classes.

In fact John D. Rockefeller who started the oil cartel in the 1870s, said competition was evil because once someone gets to the top he deserves to be there and not get taken down. So the elite don't believe in free Enterprise and only in Monopoly capitalism.

Is that so? If so that's very disturbing. Why doesn't CNN or Fox News ever talk about this?

I don't get something. I thought the Sherman anti-trust laws made monopolies illegal? And that price fixing was illegal too? So how do all the monopolies and cartels get away with it then?

Griffin also said that all those in upper class circles know that the agenda is to establish a global government that is socialist and collectivist. So it's not a conspiracy theory but an open secret among all those in the upper class. Is that so? The media and all those who work for the upper classes have some idea about this too but they have to support it to keep their jobs and are just opportunists.

Carroll Quigley, Bill Clinton's mentor, revealed all this in his books "Hope and Tragedy" and "The Anglo American Establishment". He said it was an open secret among the elites and should be publicly known rather than kept a secret.

He said that in order to get a Rhodes scholarship u have to say that u are for globalism and world government, which screens out those against the NWO so they can't move into the upper classes. And that's why Cecil Rhodes established this scholarship to select those who will serve the agenda. He also started the modern political cabals like the council on foreign relations and trilateral commission and the Bilderberg group. Is that so?

All this is very disturbing. However he said that the upper classes don't see global government as evil. They see themselves as the good guys who are doing something good and bringing world peace. To them the ends justify the means. So maybe they aren't as bad as the conspiracy crowd makes them out to be? After all no one sees themselves as the evil or the bad guy right? Even Hitler didn't. And even Satan doesn't see himself as the bad guy, if he exists that is.

What do u think? If all this is true then the world is a dismal place. The part about how everything is a Monopoly and the system is set up to prevent small independent businesses from rising up seems very true. How come the Sherman antitrust laws don't prevent that? Is it because the monopolies have ways around it and have passed laws in their favor that leave wide open loopholes for them?

Btw if the federal reserve prints money out of nothing like G Edward Griffin says then what happens if u ask Wikipedia or Google about it? Would they deny it and call it a conspiracy theory? Or do they admit it?

Is it true that politicians can borrow whatever they want from the federal reserve bank and don't have to pay it back? If so that's super corrupt off the charts. Why doesn't anyone in politics expose that? How come CNN doesn't expose this? They claim to expose corruption yet they don't talk about this.

I don't get something. Why would rich powerful people who already have everything they want, need to establish a global government and microchip and enslave everyone? Wouldn't such an Orwellian world be boring and pointless? There would be no challenge or striving in that.

Could it be just a paranoid theory or exaggeration by paranoid people who see the worst in everything because they love doom and gloom?

Besides I heard that Adam Weishaupt said that the world government would be benevolent, not violent. So maybe the original aim of the illuminati was a good pure one? It advocated brotherly love and happiness, not enslavement and violence. So maybe the illuminati was supposed to be good but got hijacked? Or maybe truthers are twisting everything into the most negative scenario possible using their doom and gloom negative mindset or assuming the worst? And their addiction to fear porn?
