Another scam pulled on me, but with a happy ending.

I wanted a particular model of sunglasses made in Italy, and could only find 2 websites selling them, one of which was: using email address

The website looks pretty suspect so I contacted my credit card company before hand and they said if I didn't get what I ordered, I would get a chargeback, so no risk to me really.

I went ahead and "ordered" them, and got an email confirmation with tracking #.
I checked the tracking number and it worked on Chinapost and Canadapost and showed the package had arrived in my city about a week later.
Then it showed the package was delivered in the Province of Quebec, not in BC where I am. The tracking number might have been fake though.
If they were scammers why would they actually send something? Who knows if they sent something or not, and what they sent and to whom.

I wrote the email address and complained, but the response was I had given them the wrong address and I was out of luck LOL.

I filed a claim with Canadapost, who couldn't really do much, since they said the sender had to do it, and of course they were no longer replying since the scam was complete.

I then filed a claim as expected with my credit card company and the seller would get notice I was disputing the charge. If the seller didn't respond within a time period, the bank that processed the charge would take the hit and the sellers account would be blocked. Needless to say they didn't reply and I got my money back.

I then hit up the 2nd online seller that had the sunglasses I wanted, and they were in Greece and provided great and fast service and I had the new made in Italy sunglasses I wanted only 2 weeks later.

The scam website sent me one last email and had the nerve to complain about me disputing the charge on something they didn't send me.
What did they expect I would do LOL

Here's the charming final message providing great customer service from :

"stop talking bullshit you motherf***er. you got the product but disputed the payment. are you forking outa your mind?"

They should change their email to

So as I expected, the website and the email associated with it are scams.
Luckily it has a happy ending for me, since I got my money back, and I did get what I wanted from a legit site shortly after.

The website is still up trying to scam people, so I hope this post will alert others not get scammed by them. I assume they have other similar sites and are using the same email address for them, so any site that uses the email address is a scam!

I'm considering sending this post link to the email so they can see that anyone the googles them will know they are SCAMMERS

I'm hoping this will help other potential victims.

I reported them to the Canadian anti fraud centre and US Internet crime complaint centre.

These awful people have created more scam websites with sunglasses they don't have and won't ship.
If you order, you will get charged, and will get emails and tracking numbers, but you won't get any product!

Why do you buy from such scammy websites? Just to save a few bucks? If you really need designer sunglasses just go to an authorized retailer. Why go through all this hassle?

As for me I just get the cheap ones from dollar stores and they work fine.

I don't know why people are such suckers for these sites. They scream SCAM.
