I hope more Asian countries, in turn, loosen their immigration and Visa laws as well. The U.S. tends to have lenient immigration laws comparatively compared to other countries, while Asian countries are incredibly difficult and somewhat racist in their laws. I'm having a hell-of-a-time trying to get an E-4 special Visa from S. Korea--and let me tell you, it's incredibly complicated and difficult to obtain! Asian countries don't want immigrants and foreign travelers flooding their countries, so they make their laws very restrictive to foreigners.momopi wrote:Taiwanese will no longer need visas to visit U.S.

This is kinda a double-edged sword. The appeal of some countries as travel destinations is that they've pretty much kept their ethnic homogeneity and culture. It is exotic, so to speak. Could you imagine if a place like China had the same lax immigration as the US or Europe? All manner of people, including third world undesirables would flood in. And you know how wonderful that is. Just ask native Western Europeans how they are doing with the Muslim Arab populations. They get along just fine don't they? Remember why you're leaving places like the US for better pastures.zboy1 wrote:I hope more Asian countries, in turn, loosen their immigration and Visa laws as well. Yes. Wherever I end up settling, I want them to stop all immigration of lowlifes - after I get in.Dragon wrote: This is kinda a double-edged sword.
