Two concerns/questions

Post by Jay » November 23rd, 2009, 7:34 am

There are two concerns I have in regards to traveling abroad in search of a better life...

1) I like to make fast and deep friendships. I enjoy socializing and spending time and sharing experiences with quality friends, where there is a meaningful, deep connection that both of us contribute to the development of. So, which countries are suggested for this for a white American man?

2) I do not want to be resented by the men or any people there.

For mountainous regions, or regions near mountains, that are good places for meeting women (the two things I am looking for) I have had suggestions in my other thread of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, and Hungary. How do these places stack up in regards to my two concerns above?

The internet: And endless process of searching online for sane people and wholesome information while weeding out the dogshit and the rantings of madmen.

I think you would like Europe then. The people are truer, intellectual, thinking and cultured. You can make some great friends there, even if it's guys.

As to men disliking you for taking their women, that does happen in the Philippines or Russia, but why let that stop you?

As I said, you gotta just go and see what works for you. Set your targets on Europe and then maybe Kazahkstan or Krygyzstan afterward, depending on how much time you have.

As far as my research on S. America goes... Colombia is the only country that keeps standing out as the only worthwhile visit. Venezuala is #2, but I guess Chavez is "preparing" for war down there at the moment so who knows.

My country pics for woman would be:
Phillipines and Thailand, Colombia, Moldova and some other baltic states and maybe the ukraine etc...

If your looking for a country to retreat to.. then Ecuador stands out because of its cheap everything and they are calling it the undiscovered Costa Rica which has become an over-run tourist destination. And- you can always run next door to Col. and date hot chicas if your into Latins.

You asked about Kazahkstan or Krygyzstan. My recommendation is to not look for women there, since they are Muslim nations (unless you're Muslim). Just a note: non-Muslim men are FORBIDDEN from dating/marrying Muslim women. Do you really want to deal with that?

Check out South America. The women in Argentina and Chile are more European in their culture and education, but have the hot Latina element!!

I would say that I was most impressed by the Polish women. Forget Polak jokes: I never understood their point. The Polish women tend to be tall, gorgeous, speak several foreign languages and have a PhD in Physics or the like, on the side. It is a traditional Catholic country, so be respectful, but you can also expect a VERY doting, loving, warm woman, who is interested in settling down and having a family. It is the only European country I visited where the churches were full of young people on Sundays, and young families were always about, taking afternoon strolls with the whole family, including babies in strollers. Poland is also a beautiful country, and not a bad place to consider living, too!!
