Is California maki sushi vegetarian?

Does anyone know if the crab sticks in the California maki sushi are vegetarian? Some told me that they were not made from real crab. Others say they are. What's the truth? Are they completely vegetarian? Momopi?

I've been wondering about this for a long time. I just ate it at the mall today and the question came into my mind again, so I told Dianne I would ask on the forum or to my advisors :)

If it's "fake crab meat", probably not.

W: I guess not, since the article you linked said that imitation crab meat is made out of a type of fish. I never knew that.
