@fschmidt here are a few of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs. I'm not especially keen on Stairway to Heaven. Let me know what you think of these songs.

In the Light.

Ten Years Gone.

Rain Song.

Kashmir.

No Quarter.

What about you @kangarunner and you @martellthacooldude? You guys Led Zeppelin fans? And do you think the songs I posted are better than Stairway to Heaven:

All this is subjective. I do like "Stairway to Heaven" and "Led Zeppelin IV" is my favorite Led Zeppelin album. I like "The Battle of Evermore", "Going to California" and "When the Levee Breaks" from that album. I also like "Good Times Bad Times", "No Quarter", and "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do".

Out of all the shit I put above, this is by far the most calming and relaxing music I've heard. When I do San Pedro or peyote or MDMA I'm going to listen to this.

What one listens to depends on what one resonates with. The Violent Femmes album is basically about incel frustration. These days I am frustrated with humanity generally, so this is what I listen to most.

My hatred of modern humanity grows every day, and I wonder if there is an upper limit to hatred.

I also like political messages in songs. Only a good musical artist would be able to pull this off skillfully.
@kangarunner,@Natural_Born_Cynic and @fschmidt what do you think to these artists?

@88jose88 since we can't openly fight against oppressors until there is a large enough number of people awake to their crimes all we can do is spread the truth like these artists do through their music. It's difficult though when you've got die hard willing slave souls like @MrMan who make excuses for the evil of the system.

I also want to tag a few of my buddies for their opinions on these tracks. @Lucas88, @publicduende, @MarcosZeitola and @Winston.

Paulo Nutini - Iron Sky.

Land of Confusion - Disturbed.

Uprising - Muse.

If you guys can think of anymore please feel free to share.

They are classic good musics about government oppression, but too bad that the government doesn't really care. It's a soulless monolith.
Do you think the government cares when some puny riff raff musicians sings about them? nope.
Check out what happened to Edward Snowden when he decided to turn against the U.S government. Julian Assenge also.
If you can't beat them, join them. I would get a government job working for the NSA as cyber security specialist and make six figures with great benefits.

The world is in a very evil system, but some of your ideas are the problem. More people embracing them would make it worse.

And what ideas would they be? You've made an aspersion without providing any context whatsoever. I can't make a counterargument unless you can back up what you're saying. And it's been noticed by many others here that you DO support this system, which most of us believe is evil and toxic.

For context: A religion which imitates blood sacrifice and cannibalism and many atrocities committed by a psychopathic imposter god. The Jews and what they've caused with their banking system based on usury and also the Talmud and Kabbalah. @Lucas88 and @Tsar could both school you on this topic. You also support a capitalist system which is clearly redundant and the cause of much depression and suicides. @88jose88 posted some good videos on this topic some months ago.

Wasn't a right to food and travel one of your ideas. How is that going to work if no one grows the food or runs the tourist industry? Stealing from corporations is also bad.
For context: A religion which imitates blood sacrifice and cannibalism and many atrocities committed by a psychopathic imposter god.
You pagans should be concerned about that, worshipping demons and whatever other spirits there may be that have myths backing them up. And various pagan religions had actual human sacrifice, include Norse, even Hindu and Grecco-Roman paganism.

The world is a rough place. I'd rather have a somewhat free enterprise system than live in Communist Russia. Would you like to live the life of a peasant or subsistence farmer, processing your own cloth with your own urine. Having corporations allowed for a lot more specialization and job prospects besides being a small-time farmer, and a lot of cheaper consumer goods. How could we have had affordable automobiles without it being organized in some sort of organization controlled by management with the help of engineers? Historically, that is how it came to be. Economies of scale were exploited by businesses. I suppose a government could have theoretically done that, but they didn't figure it out, and Communists had to copy industry to bring in some level of innovation developed by corporations. Russians didn't have a lot of automobiles under communism, not on the individual level, like free enterprise nations, in spite of their vast territory. Do you drive a car, ride a bike, or ride a bus? You benefit from the innovation of corporations.

@fschmidt lately I've been listening to more Pink Floyd. Which would you say is better between Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin? For me personally Pink Floyd is better at this moment in time, though I really appreciate both groups.

@MrMan what kind of music do you like? Do you have any groups you think are really talented and want to share?

I've never really been much of a music fanboy. Every once in a while, I'll hear a song I like on the radio. I probably listen to more Christian Contemporary Music, praise music, more than anything else. I scan through the radio and listen to pop music on the radio, but my perceptions of songs are like women's looks, maybe 2 to 5% in a genre I like have a sound that appeals to me.

While I'm working, I'll listen to a foreign language chant or choral music of the psalms on YouTube, like Gregorian or Byzantine, since I don't know the lyrics and it doesn't interfere with whatever I'm writing. Something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0CJxM3hm58 or this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5JtJ8Nb9Yk. I used to do that with Reggaton, but I understand a little Spanish, and some of the lyrics are kind of dirty, and I figure Psalms are better for the spiritual atmosphere. And that's better for a relaxed atmosphere for concentration.
