Appreciating black artists and making an assertion that black people are more than just mindless animals isn't kissing their asses. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I don't obsess over black people for one. I appreciate a few artists who happen to be black and I've met a handful of black people in my life who I really like, such as yourself or my girlfriend. I don't think I should hate anyone just because of their skin colour, or their culture. I judge everyone purely on personal merit.
