I have a complicated issue going on here, theirs this girl in my class but she happens to be a mentor so she's just their to help us out...it's actually a social group but she's younger than me. I'm 25, and I Think she was born in like 1994. Anyway when our first class started back in September she introduced herself to me, and I greeted her as well..we shook hands and all and we happened to have a friendly conversation. But after that first day of class she has been very quiet towards me, and I'm not sure why. She talks to other members in this social group but she doesn't talk to me as of right now-and the class is still going on. Do you think she is just trying to be professional and does not want to have a close friendly relationship with me since she's a mentor or is she waiting for me to make the next move and say something? Their are two girl mentors in our class and they are both Indian, not that it matters just saying. But like I said this particular girl only talks to the other members just not me. Does this mean she hates me or doesn't want to be bothered? I can understand if she's a student mentor so maybe she doesn't want to cross the line I guess if she likes me I highly doubt it because even when other members say stuff out/asking questions in the group, she and this other girl mentor laughs if one member tells a joke but doesn't laugh at my joke I I happen to tell one. Both mentors are being a little quiet. Is it just that American women/girls are not very approachable?
But you sound a bit too naive.
Don't you know anything about body language? Don't you know How to read facial expressions and type of looks on people's eyes? PUA call these IOI or ( indicators of Interests). They can label it anyway they want, buy simply put it all about reading body language.
I highly recommend you start reading books on the subject of body language. Not only does it help you spot women that show interest in you, but it will help you in all facets of life outside of the dating world such as: how to tell when someone lies to or is hiding something, how to keep customers interested in retail, how to spot someone that might pose a threat to you. Its interesting stuff really.
As for those female mentors...have you tried chatting them up? Seems logical to mix in conversation about the subject they mentor, slide in a few personal questions in between. Pay attention to their demeanor, how they respond to you.
If they respond to you in a positive manner, your good and need to progress things. If however they respond to you in a negative way and give you bad vibes, then don't waste anymore time thinking about them! And that goes for any woman you meet!
Don't know how to read negative and positive deameanor? Time to get cracking on those body language books pal.
I hope this helps.
Hmm...something tells me you made her uncomfortable in one way or the other. If you started acting weird because you like her, but are worried about what she thinks....she's going to feel uncomfortable. It's hard to say whether she is attracted to you or not by what you wrote. Even if she WAS attracted to you, if you start acting weird...you'll make her uncomfortable.
Sounds like she's not into you. Generally, if a girl likes you, she'll laugh at your jokes no matter how lame they are, and go out of her way to talk to you. Forget about this one and move on, because once you're at the point that you are at in your interactions, there is pretty much no saving it.
There's literally billions of girls out there, don't ever waste time on one that isn't into you.
