Why are men who like blondes seen as immature?

This is somewhat of a trope in society. When men say that they love blondes, that preference is considered a sign of being immature (and that it is a young passing phase) while brunettes and the men who prefer brunettes more are more "mature" in their tastes.

Actual blonde adults are very rare like 1-2% of the population and getting rarer and rarer every day. Actual blonde people are like unicorns or redheads, and even arguably the natural blonde will die out sooner than the natural redhead.

Why would somebody's physical preferences in a mate or potential partner be considered more mature or immature?

I had never heard anyone say that men who like blondes are immature and the idea had never crossed my mind. Who says this? It seems like about 30 or 40% of women have a fake hair color anyway.
