I think Ukraine people have to fight this out by themselves, they are 40+ million people, not such a small population and their country is as large as France. USA, EU and NATO will send support material over the border to assist them and will also care about refugees and injured ones after they manage to enter EU territory, but Western countries are - understandable - not willing to send their soldiers into combat against the Russian.

Tanks are very vulnerable if they are attacked from behind with various anti-tank weapons and it seems the Ukrainians are quite able to stop them with weapons supplied from NATO.

Their job is to bury anything that runs counter to the narrative, which right now is that Ukraine is winning, and Putin is going crazy as he desperately seeks help from China, or wherever he can get it -- as usual, the precise opposite of the truth. But interestingly, according to Alexander Mercouris the British press is in a tizzy over this strike, because it was so stunningly counter-narrative. Western military precincts are said to be very soberingly impressed, as these missiles were launched from a fair distance away and hit with pinpoint precision.
