Tor browser and the 'deepwebs', completely anonymous

Post by smellyboy »

There's a new browser called Tor, it's free and it is fully anonymous. It was designed to protect your privacy. Download the Tor browser below:
https://www.torproject.org/

So there's a lot of cool stuff there, really alternate thinking kind of people.

The sites on the deepwebs that you can access with Tor don't end in .com, they end in .onion.

Has anyone else surfed the deepwebs, the Tor network? What did you think?

Right now, it's still very small, but it will grow more and more gradually as people start looking for alternates to the heavily monitored and moderated mainstream internet.

Anyway, download Tor and go to "Cleaned Hidden Wiki", It's a good place to get you started, it explains everything about the deep web, Tor network, and also has a bunch of links to different types of pages.

There's also a few decent message boards on there. Here's some of the better ones, which are more active:

Silk Road Forums (you will only be able to post in the Newbie discussion forum for now)

OnionForum

Underground Market Board

Torsquare

Noel Board

Hackers Forum (talk about whatever you want here)
http://clsvtzwzdgzkjda7.onion/

OnionChan (go to the Random forum)
http://3fyb44wdhnd2ghhl.onion/ib/

Also, I found one awesome site where you can download a bunch of ebooks about the Illuminati, Underground Military Bases, UFOs, aliens, and other really far out shit:

Another awesome Tor library with lots of cool books about far out shit:

I used tor a few times in the past, but quickly lost interest when I realised it's very slow and cumbersome to use compared to standard search engines, and there's nothing of interest to be found on there anyway.

Not true. Tor renews your IP every 15 minutes...so it's a static remote IP address in an encrypted DHCP environment. The app itself locks into a hard-to-determine remote and local ports (65,536 avail slots minus 200-or-so slots that are auto assigned or far too common)
I also use PeerBlock to lock my ports with the IBlockLists updated daily. I'm currently blocking millions of ports on my computer even though I need to block more.
I use CurrPorts to view what the f.uck is going on in conjugation with Process Explorer.

I just updated the original post with a couple of new sites I discovered just now. Here they are below:

The following two message boards are the biggest on the Tor network:

Silk Road Forums (you will only be able to post in the Newbie discussion forum for now)
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php

Noel Board
http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/noel/forum.php?id=1

And I found one more cool online library that has lots of cool books about far out shit:
