While not a bad article, I was expecting a greater examination of why women are 50-70% more likely to suffer from mental illness than men.
Then I noticed at the end of the article the author is described thus - "I am a queer, genderfluid, nature loving, feminist, activist and dreamer who longs for a world without social constructions, bigotry or hate. I'm pursuing a Liberal Studies Degree with a Woman's and Gender Studies and a Creative Writing Certificate."
Of course, we wouldn't expect this 'woman' to look at the issue objectively, and question whether modern society and feminism is the cause of this imbalance. I truly believe feminism has harmed women even more than men.
