How to Go for a Syrian FOB?

Hey guys, long time no see. I have been trying to put up with my situation (since I have noticed that there is not much that I can do in the mean time, so I am trying to put up with it for now), and so I have been trying to work with the local dating scene and stuff . I may try going to Traverse City to see if I can get some work, but I am also working on uni and on Java (followed by android). Anyways, I went to a Christian college group, and boy, was I happy I went. I was the only other single guy there! But anyways, here is what got me: there was a darker girl (I have an acquired taste for darker girls) and I did a little search, and this girl is from Syria. She seems like a very pious and down to earth. At first I thought she was Mexican or something due to an accent. Any thoughts?

I dated a white-washed Syrian girl a few years ago, but that's different. I would imagine ME fobs would be more reserved and feminine than AW, problem is they can be =really= reserved. Also, most ME women will not date (seriously) outside of their ethnic group. Some of them will F around with various types of men, but when it comes time to bring someone home, it has to be a Syrian/Persian/Jew/Armenian/whatever they are.

I don't want to be a stalker, but where is the line between persistence, and being a stalker? IDK if her reservedness is culture or her.

And in person when I first saw her at group, with the excption of when the facilitators asked her questions, she kept quiet.

well they don't have sex before marriage and if you want to court her you gotta get to know her brothers,or her family.maybe thru a mutual acquintance you can meet her brothers/dad?

Orthodox Christians are real Christians.they walk the walk.

I've known coptic,syriac,and Amharic orthodox and they all had similar courting rituals as muslims.you gotta meet the family,take it slow,show good intent etc

alot of men on happierabroad want a traditional wife,but then expect her to be initially non-traditional for him(aka''date''him and have sexual relations)!lol sorry can't have ur cake and eat it too.

but you have good taste,Orthodox women are the best women hands down if you can't get a muslima or a Orthodox Jewess.real peace loving humble and generous christians.got mad respect for them.

IDK any syriacs at the moment,but I am buddies with some Coptics.what I saw was that you gotta take it slow and show good intent to the family,or the dad.meet them some way.be respectfull and talk dat marriage and wifey stuff.if you just wanna ''kick it''with their sister you might get bitch slapped.lol

I wouldn't be a dick as long as someone isn't a dick and does not do it with someone else (as some Christians have). But yeah, she has a small sister, but I don't know about the rest of her family. As for simping, I guess here is my thing: for now, unless a miracle takes place, I am going to be stuck in the US for a bit, so I will try to make the most of it, but the dating has kinda taken a toll on me. It just seems like there are almost no interesting chicas around here for me. Then again I have eccentricities, so that factors in as well. I am however going to a Christian college group, so yeah. Outside that, my social life suffers. Trying to volunteer.

Hmmm, marriage eventually. I was thinking maybe just be friends and see if it goes from there. I think I now know why she ignored me (Muslim law with talking to men and all). I do have a date with a half white half black chick. It is funny, and I mentioned this to Tsar, but it seems like the majority of my dates (or long distance relationships) is non white chicks. I understand discrimination can be a factor, but are men that picky? IDK, but I will take what I can get lol (with in reason). In any case, I still want to go abroad, but not per se for chicas.

I've lost so many hot ,amazing muslim women in my teens because they had to marry who their father wanted.
