Kulturkampf

Post by gsjackson »

For all his naivete about some things, Tsar is right about maybe the biggest issue before us -- the West, led by the U.S., is locked in a profound cultural struggle with Russia, in which Putin's Russia is on the side of the angels. This linked piece is by a Russian intellectual who has Putin's ear. He puts a name -- postmodernity, universalism, etc. -- on some of the unfortunate trends in the West that we talk about here in more particular detail as the ideas play themselves out on the flesh of human beings.

http://www.counter-currents.com/2012/07 ... der-dugin/

Russia's culture was devastated by 70 years of Marxism, followed by ten years of looting by predatory globalized capital, but at the level of ideas -- spiritual traditionalism combined with social justice, in Dugin's words -- it is like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. When Winston goes to Russia and finds himself feeling like a man, it's probably because Russian women are allowed to be women by the prevailing climate of ideas.

Ok, so why does Putin give Devil signs, and why doesnt't he tell the truth about 9/11?

And oh BTW are there chemtrails in Russia? If not why doesnt he have RT publicize chemtrails esecially in countries like Ecuador, Cuba, etc that could throw USAF out in a heartbeat? I see chemtrails every day RIGHT OVER the Mexican AF base in Ensanada. That has got to be humiliating for Mexican pilots and controllers. Who is going to stand up and give the world's people (nuclear) cover to say NO to NWO poisoning?

Yeah, I guess there is a lame-ass vestigial decrepit moaning of a Christian Revival in Russia. Show me something, ladies.

Does this mean that there are plans to restore Russia to sanity? For example, will the next generation of Russian girls not be worthless sluts?

Orthodox Christianity is on the rise in Russia.

Why do do think that the current generation of Russian girls are worthless sluts?

I read some statistics that say about 33%-50% are virgins when they graduate high school. So that seems like a very good figure compared to the statistic that about 85%-97% of American girls aren't virgins when they graduate high school. At most, only 1% of American girls are virgins when they graduate college. Most women in America get married in their late 20s. I think I read that many Russian women get married between 19-23.

Very interesting. So how does Putin's past KGB involvement fit in? Has he written about his retrospect view on communism, etc?

I haven't read much on politics for a loong while, trying to fix my personal things (HA project).

OK so despite rant (above), I DO agree with the OP.

All he is doing is trying to make a break from the British model for world domination, England and her oligarchs have had a long range plan where they get the whole world for free from the stupidity of the herd.

This system is bringing in world wide total corruption and should be adverted.

It looks like Putin isn't listening to Dugin. Too bad, the world doesn't need another intolerant empire.

My reading of Dugin is that he advocates multi-culturalism across different societies, not within a single society such as Russia. I'm certain he shares Putin's concern to resist multi-culturalism of the U.S. variety, where the lowest common denominator prevails and the vast majority of the population become low-level morons easily manipulated by the state.

And if you think Russia is becoming some sort of empire, you've probably been reading too much western media propaganda on the Ukraine matter.

Exactly. Did you read my link? Putin wants to impose one culture on the entire Russian Federation, not just in the Russian Republic.

I read it. There's that much difference in culture within the Russian federation? I understood Dugin to be talking about larger cultural divides on the order of Russian Orthodox Christianity versus western secularism. And the supposedly multicultural secularized West is the one saying everyone has to be like us -- the "universalism" Dugin talks about.

See the "Main Religion" column. Imposing Orthodox Christian culture on republics with other cultures is no better than Western Liberalism.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought there would be that much diversity within the current RF.
