The ways that life outside of America is superior are innumerable and too many to name. Here's a few:

1. I feel much more peaceful and safe outside of America

2. People are much nicer and more real

3. Don't have to worry about a fascist totalitarian govt like the one in America

4. women are not brainwashed by feminism

5. things are much cheaper

in many ways, life outside of America is a million times better. America truly is a hell on earth, and is the worst place in the world to live. It's a satanic fascist country that is completely evil. What more can really be said?

Most younger Americans think they are "hip" because they watch movies, reality TV shows and ingest the lessons of TV commercials, but they are actually incredibly ignorant and xenophobic. Most are pretty good at responding to trivia questions, but they are unable to connect the dots of existence and the important questions of life. Americans are lemmings, for the most part scientifically developed through the arts of persuasion and psychology, but the coming very hard times will snap many out of their lifelong hypnotic trances. At least we can hope so. . .

I never left America. Sadly I've never had the funds, nor the opportunity, nor the confidentiality to comfortably leave America. I don't know what to expect, but I plan to travel the world soon. I'm currently selling everything I own and investing in a small collection of foreign language learning books. If all of America is anything like the Chicagoland area which I reside in (mindless lemmings, impossible to make friends, no real culture, rampid homosexuality, getting drunk is high-end entertainment, people thinking low of you because you own a home business rather than working a shit job where you answer to an overpaid cunt, people feel threatened by friendly conversation or god forbid compliments, all women automatically become feminist cunts once they hit 25, nazi-esque cliques that you can't belong to, mundane electronic device worshipping, people who bitch about the economy and yet drive an un-American car from Asia or Europe, rediculously high prices on things of meager value, people calling the police on you because they thought you were being friendly in order to commit a serious crime, etc.), then you guys have saved me all that money I would have been wasting jumping state-to-state, and I may be leaving this cunt nation sooner rather than later!

funny how a lot of people look at America with such admiration yet the ones who live there - see a totally different reality.

Not that my country is that much better

I like America (born and raised) but it's only fun if you have money.

Most Americans don't even have passports. It says a lot of the values of Americans: work, shame, guilt, no fun, no play. JOB IS YOUR LIFE.

Go out and see the world. You could die tomorrow. You could end up in a coma. DO IT NOW. PLAN NOW. DON'T MAKE EXCUSES.

If I could do it, and I'm not rich. Then you can do it too.

Ha! I used to live in Northbrook, IL :) I totally know what you are talking about :) I now live down South, it's the same crap, just people are a bit more relaxed. Otherwise, same shit. Don't waste your time moving to different states, it is all the same!

What I love about Chicago is huge number of immigrants! I would hit Petergof night club in the suburbs, I would also hit Russian parties downtown. Lots of Russian chicks who you meet everywhere you go. The bad side - they get extremely stuck up, same as American chicks! The good side - when you smack them saying that their life is a useless pile of drama and chasing some show-off fake shit - they often melt and open up, some don't. It all depends.

There is Fresh Farms on the corner of Milwaukee and Dundree road. Tons of Russian-speakers shop there, many live nearby in Wheeling.

Newlife - Do you mind me asking what you do to support yourself? I thought it was impossible to make money abroad.

"anti-social" isn't the right word to describe America. I'd call myself a loner and introverted, both terms that can be associated with being anti-social. But I don't hate people, I just feel most Americans force conversations. Most Americans don't seem to be comfortable with themselves so they fill moments of silence with forced conversations. The thought of a conversation ending with nothing to say startles most Americans. On top of that most Americans don't talk freely because they're very politically correct. I many things to say, just few things Americans want to hear. So I'd say "inauthentic" is a much better word.

In Mexico where I recently went, the pressure was definitely off to converse. As a result the conversations flowed more naturally. So I think even introverts have an easier time in the third world.

If I were to do a reductionist approach on what works in America, it's basically this ...

Having a successful career while having no interest in the opposite gender.

For men like me, we have our 'release' values w/ Canadian GFE escorts and such, however, for the average Joe, it would eventually drive 'em batty and they'll become a Mangina to a Femi-Nazi girlfriend/wife.

Thus, it's a tough challenge.

Living very cheap was extremely important to me, starting out. It meant that I had finally escaped the rat race! I didn't have to work at all if I didn't want to. It is hard trying to make it as an independent comic artist or animator with the California cost of living. This often meant that projects got rushed out the door to make a quick buck, or it was back to the grind in a "real job". How is one to create some great masterpiece if they never have the time to sit and think of something great? When I first went to Philippines, I had time to think, plan or just rest if I so desired.

I never felt like the government was involved in my life. Maybe I was just too used to the way things were, though, needing licenses and permits for every little thing. Even in so-called communist China I don't feel the hand of government involved in anything I am doing on a day to day basis. Only at visa time.

Cheap sex being available isn't necessarily a good thing. I got caught up in that my first trip abroad and nearly destroyed everything. Luckily it gets old after a few months. I can still clearly and frankly remember the day that I was banging a gorgeous chick, raw even, and thinking, "This is boring." I would have never dreamed such a thing to be possible while living in America, but here I was, in the "heat of the moment" and not deriving pleasure from it. Not long after, I moved to Korea and discovered a new path. Family.

Living with my Korean girlfriend's family, I discovered something else I really valued, that was missing in America and that I wanted to add to my life. Of course, living with an entire family I also discovered that it takes a much shorter period of time of not getting any to reverse that feeling of being bored with sex.

Eventually, I continued to build up my online business, I went to Japan, back the Philippines for a long stretch and then finally to China. What I learned is that above all, the most important thing you have is time. You don't get that in America. The next important thing is people. This is not stressed enough in American life, where family means little and people are out for themselves. The essential ingredient in everything is balance! I can find that out here. It was nowhere to be found in America.

I certainly don't "Hate" america but I think it is a hollow shell of what it could be. I totally agree that it is void in the social department. When I was in the Philippines with my wife we always had people inviting us to their house and there was always a party somewhere to go to. There never seemed to be any social awkwardness there as there is here in the US. People are generally much friendlier there and socially easier to deal with. I think what makes it so hard to live in America is the cost of an american lifestyle. Many americans are slaves to their lifestyles. You have to have that big screen TV, new car and nice house. That is part of being socially acceptable in the US. Everything here is easily 3-4 times as expensive as they are anywhere else. Its not until we are pulled away from our big screens, expensive computers and large houses that we realize we actually dont need these things to have a happy life as we are told all our lives. In fact, not having these things is better than having them. If you car is crappy and it breaks down.. you dont really care because you knew it was a crappy car and most of the time many of your friends lived close by and you did not need to drive to see them anyhow.. and you can afford to replace it. If your TV goes out.. you dont really care because it only costed you $50 and you probably did not watch it that much anyhow because you were to busy spending time with your friends.. Its when we realize that as long as our basic needs are met (food, shelter and social acceptance), we really don't need to work ourselves to death to own the fancy things..

YES! Another idea out of your post: just how much better is it to actually talk to "real people" instead of living in "Facebook world"? I mean, 1-2 hours of time spent with real friends is priceless! I spent 3 hours talking to my 2 friends via conference call, we were laughing remembering how we all used to go out and funny things that happened over the years! So many amazing simple good memories, so many great warm feelings... These 3 hours I spent on the phone are much more important than watching 20 movies or any sports on TV.

Real world! That's what is being lost in America, people locked themselves into cars, offices and suburbs. Far away from other people and separation continues to grow, thanks to social networks and overall mistrust in the society.
