Scott Adams succumbs to dickheadism
It seems that Scott Adams (the guy who draws the Dilbert cartoons) doesn't have a clue about how families or human society works. He poses the question: What is wrong with Polygamy? (by which he means any form of complex marriage). It would be good if someone here could set him straight. I would nominate fschmidt, so it would be good if someone could tell him about this, as he is apparently blocking my posts. Here is the thread:

Scott Adams, of all people, should be opposed to polygamy, for the simple reason that if one dude can marry many women, then the competition for women will be even more intense. Scott is a nerd who frequently complains through Dilbert that American women are stuck-up, shallow, materialistic, greedy, and demanding. Does he not realize that this problem will be magnified 1000-fold if one alpha male can have a harem of beautiful women?
Yes, but as time goes by, I'm also becoming wealthier and bit more self-employed, however, I haven't forgotten that AWs suck and thus, I'm still on this forum.Hero wrote:Now he's rich and self-employed. He's forgotten what it's like to be a grunt slaving away at a shitty office job with no reward
Adams is one of those, who's forgotten that cubicle life sucks, and has thus, accepted mainstream BS. He'll probably end up with an AW, like most other conformists out there.
Many years ago, the Best Picture of 1999, "American Beauty", telegraphed the message of Happier Abroad to the world.
Beware of long term engagements with AWs, you may find yourself in a coffin.
AB discussion thread
BTW, despite settling down with an AW, myself, the warning is still in effect.
