How much do you guys care about your partners intelligence?

I don't really care about academic intelligence. First and foremost they need to have a good understanding of relationships and that might sound simple enough but not every female possesses that quality unfortunately. Self-awareness is an underrated form of intelligence I like to see too.

Distinct lack of intelligence that shouldn't be tolerated = Keeping up with the Jones', an obsession with money, arrogance, not learning from her mistakes, snobbery, has a limited understanding of others including men, can't think for herself.

My mother was sharp as a tack and so I would want the mother of my children to be like that to educate the children. Some hopes.
