There are some really good Christian people out there, I for one do not subscibe to it as being real events and look at it as more of populace control..

Although, I think it has something specifically to do with the anglo version of protestantism. Mexico is Catholic but the people are a whole lot more genuine and nicer. It's the protestants who are aggressively in your face and proselytizing their vile doctrinal nonsense. Even the Orthodox Christians don't do that.

I have far less of a beef with the Orthodox, but Roman Catholics and Protestants are almost equally complicit in their historical misdeeds in the New World against those who did not abide.
