Agreed! I used to be Libertarian Capitalist until I realized that many of the biggest proponents of such an outlook are the same kinds of asshole Calvinist employers I've had to deal with at various jobs. "Freedom" and "Natural Law" for them is the freedom to rake in six digit salaries at others expense, or to have a coveted position as a market adviser to the fat cats while people like me slave away for 80 hrs a week with no benefits and no safety net.I don't think it makes sense to discuss economic systems with a woman. But in any case, there are alternatives to capitalism and communism. My preferred system would be free market cooperativism where workers have an inalienable right to the product of their labor. David Ellerman discusses the idea in The Case for Workplace Democracy.
A more nuanced approach is needed.
