Toxic and socially disconnected communities attract mass shootings and massacres.

Post by traveller »

I wonder how many of you have heard about the mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois during their 4th of July festivities. During their 4th of July street festival, a mad gunman opened fire on the crowd, killing and injuring a number of people and causing the shutdown of the event.

Now Highland Park is one of the most toxic, soulless, and socially disconnected communities in the country, as well as within the State of Illinois. Like in the rest of Northern Illinois, especially including what is known as Chicago's collar county area (the counties of DuPage, Will, Kane, Lake, and McHenry), nobody in Highland Park talks to strangers unless it's business-related.

Humans aren't meant to be isolated. When you continually isolate guys by pushing them away and excluding them, eventually they snap, and when they snap, sometimes you get a mass shooting.

Similar massacres have also occured in other communities, too. I even remember there was a massacre on Valentine's Day 2008 at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. And the Sycamore/DeKalb metro area is the most toxic, soulless, and antisocial metro area easily in the Western Hemisphere. There are virtually no friendly people in Sycamore or DeKalb, that whole area is a dry and barren social desert. frozen like the fictional planet Hoth in Star Wars.

I am very surprised that these massacres don't seem to make people want to change their personalities. They continue to be fearful of the public like they think they're in East St. Louis or like it's illegal to talk to strangers.

Exactly, that's all America is now. A land of consumer transactions or business networking. America has completely lost all cohesive communities.

You're right. Isolation does drive people crazy. I heard someone say that these kids are doing these shootings because they lack strong elders in their life to be positive influences and role models. With Elliott Rodger, I think his dad just left him alone and wasn't there for him.

I remember that Las Vegas shooter Paddock back in 2018. And then I remember a year or so ago, the guy who plowed through a bunch of people in his car walking in a parade. The thing is, when the media talks about the solution to these problems. They never point out the real cause which is at the home level, they always just say we need more police at the schools.

This country will just become more divided and separated in 10 years. The Land of the Free, Home of the Brave?......More like the Land of the f**k You In The Ass For Playing and Home of the People who don't give a shit about anyone else.

No one is sane in this country. You can't keep your sanity in an insane environment.

Neither of this completely tackles the issue. Shootings are generally due to an obsession with certain types of people (its difficult to describe them, a lot of lazy Americans who don't like to put in effort just play pretend, this person is like this animal and etc.). Describing them in terms of their ethnicity is a pure waste of time.

Though I agree that in America, the country's not gonna improve. I can't say if it will get worse.
Then again, some people go all the way (cognitive dissonance/fallacy of incomplete evidence).

Eat dates.

The problem is iphones.

This country is going to be downright institutionalizing every single man that graduates high school without a girlfriend in 10 years. I can easily envision a typical American high school graduation ceremony in 2035. Armed military personnel and SWAT officers with automatic rifles and hand grenades are at the ceremony. They order all dating couples to one side of the gymnasium and all single guys to the other side of the gymnasium at gunpoint. All guys that have a girlfriend are ordered to sit with their girlfriend. All guys without a girlfriend are directed to a "Single Guys" section reserved for them. Entire convoys of paddywagons are parked outside the school. The ceremony begins. It looks as though the dating couples are getting their diplomas first. But right after the last dating couple has received their high school diploma, the ceremony abruptly ends, multiple platoons of armed military soldiers swarm in like yellow jackets and arrest everyone in the "Single Guys" section and drag them out to the paddywagons to be hauled off to be surgically castrated and then permanently institutionalized. Some guys resist and put up a fight, only to be immediately blasted to shreds by military assault rifle fire and hand grenades. The graduates in relationships get their diplomas and move on to college and then work. The single male graduates are locked away for the rest of their lives as if convicted of capital murder.

I remember being in Vietnam (which was my 5th and 6th year abroad until I came back) and I would casually check American news sites......Once you live abroad for a few years, you will literally see America as HELL ON EARTH from the outside. Looking from the outside in to America, it looks like a total insane asylum.

I remember seeing some post on Instagram that said something along the lines of:........"Canadians must look at America like living in an apartment above a meth lab." LOL

Instead of Canadian men going on mass shootings, they OD and die from fentanyl. That's why there is a labour shortage despite Trudeau bringing in over 400,000 people to live in Toronto to make the elites richer from their investment properties.
