Hey guys,
This is an observation I've made. I have a Youtuber friend who makes videos with girls in different languages. When he made a video in Portuguese with a girl, people just said, "Cool." People seem to not care about the girl. While when he made the video in English, people where telling him, "You're friendzoned!" "That girl is not your GF!"
It seems the audience immediately 'dislike" him. I would say he is not the only one I've see this phenomenon with other English-Speaking content creators. This remind me when some youtubers go to a developing country and show their latest watch/car it seemss people don't "admire him" or think "good for them." But they immediately dislike them.
It seems ironic, since if you show your watch/car/material good in any English speaking country most people don't care. Its only the whole women/dated which seems to elicit this "strong emotional" response/
Why is "Dating" such an "emotionally charged" topic, in the Anglosphere?

Anglo societies are characterized by a hypercompetitive mindset. People feel like they are in a constant competition with others to get ahead and score in the dating market. This kind of mindset breads mutual hostility, cynicism, envy and resentment. I too have noticed that Anglos more than other nationalities like to tear others down and make negative comments about everything that a person does. That's because they automatically see other people as rival competitors as opposed to potential friends.ArchibaultNew wrote: ↑October 12th, 2022, 5:58 amHey guys,

This kind of negative behavior is particularly intense when it comes to the subject of dating and women because in the Anglosphere dating is especially a hypercompetitive domain - perhaps more so than everything else.
The two main reasons why dating is so difficult in the US and other Anglo countries are their hypercompetitive materialistic culture obsessed with money and material excesses and anti-male feminism. The extreme obsession with money and status means that standards are always being pushed higher to the point where they become just too unrealistic for a growing subset of guys and then, on top of that, the anti-male feminist movement teaches women to despise men and view us as the enemy and merely as utilities. Many other places aren't like that. In parts of Continental Europe and Latin America people aren't as materialistic and have more realistic expectations. Also the feminism there is often less misandric or otherwise nonexistent. So it is much easier for the ordinary guy to get a girlfriend.
In my experience, hypercompetitive money-obsessed cultures such as the Anglosphere, Japan, and other parts of East Asia are the absolute worse for dating and human connection. I think that Winston has made similar observations. The best places to date women and form friendships are the more relaxed, passionate and free-spirited societies of Southern Europe and Latin America. Let's be honest, Anglo people are neurotic and mostly suck. Their culture is just weird and toxic. I always feel much more spiritually healthy when I distance myself from Anglos and their culture and associate with only my Spanish-speaking Mediterranean and Latino friends. The difference is night and day.

Hey man,
I appreciate your thoughts. One repeated pattern I see is that Anglo's are competitive. Although, this competition seems to reach a "fever pitch" when it comes to dating. They have made everything much more complex than it needs to be.
