Yes, Young Turks is good sometimes. Opinionated and self-righteous, but not so scripted as 'mainstream".

What bugs me most about discourse in America is the way that some opinions widely held in the world elicit headshaking, shock and outrage from the talking heads.

Someone "denies the Holocaust", or says races are different, or women can't handle power, or whatever. Outrage. Shock. Can't believe you said that.

Waitaminnit. Most people in the WORLD agree with what the guy just said. They may be wrong or right - but it's not some RADICALLY NEW idea.

But the talking head CAN'T BELIEVE it was said.

It's like they must never talk to anyone outside their own PC bubble. They aren't just liberal. They can't believe anyone else ISN'T.

Got to give Winston a pat on the back here - his response of "what are your facts" is the right one, when someone says something new or suspect.
