What is this suppose to mean? I know what Alimony is, but Community Property???

I always love these anti-marriage types, they have never offered me a reasonable alternative.

I can argue that prostitution cost less money up front but more money in the long run and if you have a regular the same relationship issues will surface.

So I guess your solution would be any P4P girl that gets to clingy, toss her for a new one. Just how often are you suppose to do that?

The reality is Men have a limited shelf life as well. Not as short as a woman's but beyond a certain point, most women won't find you appealing and you'll be forced to hook up with women much closer to your own age.

Look you don't have to agree with me, that's your right. What I want is children. The best scenario to have those children is a committed, long term relationship. You don't have to get married, but I think its important to tie that knot. If you have an emotional investment and she takes the same investment seriously there is nothing to fear.

Your job is not to disappoint your woman. Its near impossible to battle back from that. So if your inclinations are to f**k other women, then don't get married. My inclinations are not to do that, no interest in it, so married is the best option for me.

So is your newfound obsession with "marriage" based on actual love, or is it based on societal pressure to do so (e.g. "I'm this age and MUST get married", "my folks were THIS age when they married I MUST not wait any longer", etc.) from your mother or something? I have a Grandmother dying of brain cancer and with amnesia right now. She had 5 kids and 14 grandchildren including me. She has been well taken care of since she was diagnosed.

I agree with wanting a partner when you get older. I don't agree with your list of benefits, however. For instance, even if it "works out", marriage generally ends sex altogether, and a wife and kids generally demand all of the husband's earnings (whether for needs or for wants). That's good that your grandmother is very well taken care of, however in a lot of cases the children/grandchildren will stiff an aging parent for their money (e.g. laundering their will, coercing them to sign over retirement wages, putting them in a cheap nursing home, etc.).

I'm just glad that dj is at least considering a foreign woman (unlike my brother who is engaged to an American black female nearly 10 years older than him, who he met at the club! ) Marrying a foreign woman is the smartest choice for the man, even though marriage of any sort is altogether a no-win complex for males.

Its not an obsession, how can you call it that? Where have you seen me mention or state society is pressuring me to do ANYTHING?
