Hah... don't worry about me... I GOT the money.

The honey will come, but for now I'm focusing on the thrill and adventure of carving out a new life abroad.

It's the only way to go.

Good for you ill hopefully be back in the game in the near future. Im talking about those of us were are saving for our future and a long ways off or are not sure how they will make it abroad if the world economy turns to a total craphole or there is world war. Just something to consider. Im going into hibernation mode at the moment i had my fun for a couple years but now time to focus.

The world does seem to be going to crap...but why would anyone want to stay in, say...the USA--which will most likely be the number one target for terrorists all over the world, or posed to experience an economic collapse--as well as the most likeliest industrialized country to descend into a full-on race-war or governmental collapse in the near future?

I'd rather take my chances outside of the USA and other Anglo-countries (U.K., Canada, Australia, etc), and stick to some neutral country down in Central/South America and parts of Asia, for safety.

well it could be global in regards to effecting the economy or war so most of the world could be effected. also china or russia or muslims could invade other countries in asia or elsewhere who knows. also if you run away fro america maybe oyu wont be allowed to return cause your a draft dodger or because access is blocked for security reasons so i wouldn't want to be blocked out of america i have family here. I know you love china but I do not and do not want to be there LOL

Hopefully it doesn't all blow up like i think it may. Its just something to consider that if your thinking of retriement early and putting money away or living abroad its one thing to remember.

E... brother... you about ready to head abroad again? I might be kickin' it with Jester in a few weeks in Ensenada. Quieres venir y celebrar con nosotros si lo hago?

Way too much BS man... I'm ready to head abroad and get this sh!t started.
Aun lo pienso. Jo estaba platicando con Jester a la otra noche por Skype y primeramente talvez me voy a la Ciudad de Mejico (entre de irme al mes Octubre y Noviembre por solo dos dias) y celebrar pa' ya. I remember we were talking about that a few months ago so I haven't forgotten.

Here's a few of my favorite things.

1. Border fence to keep Americans from leaving
2. Utah and Arizona passed laws to use gold and silver coins as legal tender
3. Constitution exclusion zone declared
4. Check points 100 miles inland from Mexican border
5. California drought the worst drought ever
6. US beef herd lowest level in 60 years
7. DHS buys 1.6 billion bullets
8. 40,000 US manufacturing companies moved to China
9. Legalization of pot in Colorado and Washington state to keep everyone calm
10. US Army to put women in combat by 2016
11. Police now using MRAP vehicles
12. US prison population the highest in the world
13. 1 out 3 Americans on social assistance

Long story short, go out with a bang, go out doing the one thing you want to do the most... and as a man once said, "It will not have been a wasted life."

Too much time talking about the BS that could be. Not enough time spent pursuing your dreams.

Let's change that.

Yeah if the world is going to be a mess, you would not want to stay in a rented room in an urban environment in the USA.

If you have a social base and family land in smalltown, self-sufficient, racially peaceful Nowhere USA, and money for prepping, by all means stay. if you can find or bring a good woman.

But if the SHTF and you do NOT have all your ducks in a row (see above), then outside the US and Britain is a basic commonsense step.

Best would be Southern Hemisphere (New Zealand, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, etc) because nuclear fallout won't hit the southern hemisphere. (It blows east.)

Brazil or South Africa might have some issues, but there is still less downside than the US, since they are southern hemisphere, have no nukes at present, are roughly self-sustaining, and have little in the way of a welfare class. I'm not saying they have no problems, just saying that a economic meltdown wouldnt make their societies unlivable.

As someone pointed out, World War Two messed up Europe, but life in Argentina went on just fine, undisturbed.

But to recap, where you don't want to be, in an urban environment, is the US and the UK.
