Well, wanting a good & strong man IS something it seems most women want. Being OWNED by them does not. It seems that women want a man like that to actually give a shit about her & her kids while not just being a well-wisher. Sure, she shouldn't have to make ALL the decisions & probably doesn't want a man she has to be like a mother to, especially if she's got actual kids to raise- but it really doesn't seem like she wants an enemy. What is a guy that's goes from being the hero of the war to the tyrant of the house? A failure. That's not just my own deduction, but what actual war veterans have confirmed.
