Chris martenson is good, if you truly want to learn alot Wall Street for Mainstreet is probably as good as it gets right now. The entire system is nothing more than a counterfeiting con job and it's just a supply of numbers they manipulate.

That podcast you provided the link to sucks......
You’re right. I hadn’t listened to it when I linked to it. Pretty boring episode.

I’m surprised a podcast called Wallstreet for Mainstreet would have that sort of message.

While I do preach caution (not being 100% fully invested in stocks), I say ignore the alarmism because NO ONE knows when the markets will tank. That being the case, responding to the alarmism will deprive you of fantastic gains.

Yes, keep some cash and precious metals reserves just in case, but don't be shy about getting a whole heap of skin in the game.
That's why I get on Taco's case for his faux pas on alarmism.
Don't get me wrong, there's tons of money to be made. The problem is you trying to collect it during a bank run. I suggest trading Crypto currency, it operates outside of the mainstream banking/financial system. You can still withdraw your money from a Crypto brokerage account at any time as long as you have an internet connection.

Bank runs on cash are highly improbable given then prevalence of electronic transactions now. And even if there was a doomsday event that caused a bank run, it would not affect those of us overseas who will still have access to foreign ATM dollars, Euros, Swiss Francs and other local currencies.

The currencies that are pegged to the dollar would crash, but generally global currencies are valued AGAINST EACH OTHER so a crash in the dollar means there would be vast INCREASES in of other currencies against the dollar. That is not even to mention the powers of independent central banks to adjust the values of their individual currencies where needed.

Putting out alarmist gibberish to make people as paranoid and scared as you is just not right.

There's no such thing as independent central banks, their all owned by the same people.

The markets should rally until the first week of October that's when the 3rd quarter earnings reports come out. Brexit tentatively planned for October 31 will also seriously effect the markets.

They started a bull market in the 20 year bonds so the 10 year bonds(and interest rate) would crash . There both going parabolic but in opposite directions. If the interest rate on the 10 year hits 4% there will a financial nuclear meltdown.
