Sure, you will find traditional families in Yemen, Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Afghanistan, etc. The problem is: what makes you so sure that the male members of their families, those who will meet you and decide if you are to marry their daughter/sister/niece/cousin, will be so amenable to the idea?

If they are traditional, they will be naturally against a foreign man, especially one who has converted so recently, doesn't speak some form of Arabic and/or hasn't learned their culture, yet.

Of course the alternative would be to go for Muslim families who are not so traditional, after all, and may accept you as part of their families. But then, when it comes to those more open-minded "urban" Muslims, you need to account for the fact that they might give the girl a say, and the girl might not be happy being married away with a random stranger they have never met before.

And where are you planning to find a "Muslim orphan"? I can imagine the state of orphanages in those countries you mention, what kind of traumas and abuse those poor girls will be subjected to. I am sure you know that, in the Muslim world, a girl without a family to protect her is a girl without respect...anything can happen to her and noone would blink an eye.

And even if the girl is pure, are you sure the intentions of the family members you will be facing, before you meet her, will be so pure? What if they are only looking to get some cash from you?

I created a little tribe of my own, got some ladies, made some babies and now life is infinitely more rewarding and interesting than it used to be. My comments about conversion to Islam come from a place of having your best interest at heart. I would like to see my wife's Muslim relatives, my former co-workers, etc. who are Muslim put their faith in Christ.

I spent many years in Indonesia, and my impression is that there are numerous Christian virgins there. It was certainly the expectation, on both male and female, that they be virgins. This was true of Muslims, and probably Buddhists also. I don't know about Hindus. Bali has some onerous wedding customs and there is this niche in the culture for forcing a marriage somehow, feigning that the groom eloped with the bride or slept with her beforehand. The details are fuzzy in my memory. A little over 20 years ago, my wife and I took a vacation to Bali. We were going to rent a car with a hired driver. I prayed that the driver would be open to receiving the Gospel. The next day, we met him. The Balinese driver we hired was living with his fiancée before marriage. He had seen a Christian movie and was interested in becoming a Christian. We shared with him. Mostly my wife. My Indonesian was a bit stilted. He was interested. We introduced him to a pastor there we were visiting, and he ended up getting baptized along with his fiancée, we heard, some time later.

But it is still the culture there at least in Jakarta, among Christians and Muslims, to save oneself for marriage. I am not saying some don't violate this. But it is expected, like it was in the US decades ago. And if you said a woman was sleeping around before marriage, it's not considered some silly joke like here. It's a serious insult to their character.

I don't like to see you swapping religions based on what woman you want to find. You should seek God first, then align desires to marry with serving and pleasing God.

I don't remove too much generally. I just removed the shit caused by the Chandler troll because I thought it was the right thing to do. I know conversation goes off on natural tangents and people get into disputes and disagreements which evolve in threads as well.
