Other than USA, what other country have a tough dating scene

Post by Sexter »

I know England is very similar to USA.

recently i made a trip to hawaii and went to waikiki beach, tried to approach some japanese tourists and majority of them blatantly ignored me or kept walking (maybe japanese women are like this in general?)

It's pretty much hard everywhere except E. Europe, S. America and Central and SE Asia. You will drive yourself nuts trying to enumerate all the tough to date countries. Better concentrate on the ones where it is easy to date.

makes sense. japan was super fun and easy to get dates there. I have had model looking japanese girls walk right in front of me trying to get physical contact as best they could. If they don't like me they just don't get close. This was suprising to me actually. i think if your very handsome they should open up. BUT i understand that women are afraid of the whore image. so they will avoid contact with to many men because of that fear.

Drive yourself nuts. oh boy i am going nuts already just by living here in america to long.

Japan is easy if you are under 30 and very good looking/blond. Otherwise, you will have to date over 30 used goods who are hunting for Westerners because no Japanese wants them. Very cute 18-26 young Japanese girls, especially those looking to get married prefer the same nationality unless you look like Leonardo Di Caprio or Brad Pitt.
In any event, in Japan, you will not be getting mainstream girls.
Plus Japan is racist as hell and it is hard for a mixed couple to get an apartment and raise a family. It would be much easier to live in the US after you get the gal. She also does not need a visa to come to the US- I think now she may need to register online though although do not quote me on that.

I would agree as well.

Unless you're part of the fortunate (or unfortunate, however you see it) masses in the Western/Industrialized lands who are meeting others fine, then it's almost as if the difficult areas for us "others" are the Western/Industrialized lands in general (U.S., Canada, Australia, Western/Southern Europe, UK, possibly Argentina, Chile & Uruguay, and South Africa - notice a common theme).
If you aren't in school, certain types of work, or in a helpful network, then chances are slim of meeting others as these places tend to be very clique-like.
Yet, in the areas quoted above, you don't need those avenues. People are a lot more easier to approach in general. Women, yes, but people in general. Imagine that.

The one major country in east Asia, which I believe is the conundrum for Americans, is Korea.

Yes, it's possibly the strangest country to meet women in Asia, granted I didn't do too badly during my two months there but there's a type of sabotage factor going on among locals. The Korean men (or families), if you want to put it in those terms, try to put up barriers between ex-pats and the local women.

Part of this weirdness has to do with the neverending US military presence where in effect, the young American is seen as some drunken, thug soldier who thinks he owns the territory or any woman who hangs around the Itaewon district but I'm not sure if that's 100% of the reason. Obviously, the Korean women who were interested parties, didn't see me as a thug but they were very concerned that it would not work out long term; I guess they were afraid of people telling 'em, 'I told you so'.

In terms of Japan, for me, I didn't have a tough time but I wasn't exactly free to explore, as I was on a schedule with a list of activities to accomplish when I was there. But yeah, I had interested parties in Tokyo. My gut feeling tells me that Japan is 'ok' but yes, women there do want a Yuppie type and/or a handsome fellow. That's what happens when a country goes completely first world in one generation, materialism follows.

Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, however, were no sweat. All's well in the southeast.

Stay away from the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Russia, eastern Europe, Philippines, Thailand and South America are all good places to meet women. :D

Obviously, stay away from the Anglosphere unless you're a degenerate. That goes without saying.

Western Europe is probably not so easy, though there are differences from nation to nation and I don't believe any continental European nation is as bad as the Anglosphere. Hell, even the Scandinavian women I've spoken to are much nicer than your typical Anglobitch.

I've usually gotten along well with Chinese international students and Chinese girls have been plenty interested in me online.

Japanese and Korean girls, not so much; this may be due to their reluctance to live overseas, especially with the Japanese. This does not apply to Peruvian-Japanese, who are another breed.

I've had lots of success with Filipinas.

In Latin America, I've generated more interest in the mid-north (Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela) than the south (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay), though this has begun to change. I suspect that much of this interest is due to shared religion and in some places, my lack of vices. My sexual conservatism does not count against me, either.

Nobody from Central America has been interested in me. Very few from Eastern Europe have been either. From what I've read, this stems from my age (they often expect foreign men to be somewhat older).

African women from both former British colonies (especially Kenya) and Francophone Cameroon have been interested, but I rarely find African women all that attractive for some reason.

Surprise packets: Morocco, Indonesia, Algeria and Iran. I expected NO interest from these places due to them being Muslim, yet I received a truckload from Indonesia, quite a few from Morocco and a few from Algeria and Iran also. Maybe it's my sexual conservatism. Maybe they're more liberal than I realised. Maybe it is because I lack any vices (smoking and drinking are discouraged in Islam).

Anywhere I missed?

I've dated an Iranian girl and am still good friends with her. While she's not Muslim, she like many other Iranians are into "new age" stuff or Eastern philosophies. Iranians tend to be very liberal politically and mistrusting of organized religions of any sort. The Iranians are NOT Arabs and get offended if you confuse them with Arabs. They consider themselves to be highly sophisticated, intellectual and worldly. The Iranians I've known tend to be truly be what they claim, too. They appreciate kindness, politeness, thoughtfulness, and mutual respect (conservative values), but politically are pretty far extreme left. Sexually, I think the women at least are rather conservative, and as a non-Muslim man, you take your life in your hands, if you jump in the sack, unless you're living in a western society and the girl is independent from her family. I find the Iranian women to be socially very close the Italians and Spaniards, but with a conservative streak. All that being said, I find the Persian girls to be some of the most beautiful and exotic looking in the world, by far. Definitely worth the catch, if you're willing to put the work into it. For the record, the reason I didn't stay with the Iranian girl was because she told me twice that she'd never marry me. I am too religious for her I think and to her credit, she's still single and an independent hard-working professional woman 20 years later.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. You're right; they're Persians, not Arabs. They are also Shi'ite (Arabs tend to be Sunni). Many are liberal compared to the theocratic dictatorship currently holding sway; this particularly applies to the young, but I'm not sure whether they'd be liberal in the American sense of the word (or even the classic sense). The American liberals/leftists tend to be sympathetic to Islam, but Islam's values (even among the moderates) are nothing like the Western left's. The Western left is very secular and is permissive when it comes to abortion and divorce; Islam tries to prevent both.

I also doubt whether atheists can live freely in Iran; they cannot in Saudi Arabia (although Iran is not Wahabbist, conservative Islam is broadly hostile to secularism).

Adultery between a Muslim woman and a non-Muslim man is punishable by death; I'm not sure whether many executions have actually been carried out, though.

Many of the Iranian girls I've seen online are beautiful; the same goes for Moroccan girls.

This thread fuckin' rocks! I like all this information here. Keep it up, fellas!!!!

Whoever is in charge should make this thread into an adhesive sticky.

I love that Da Rick quote on one of his posts on this thread: something like: "Don't stay in the Anglosphere [on purpose] unless you are a degenerate!"

THERE IS NOTHING TRUER THAN THAT AFOREMENTIONED QUOTE. That should be a "Poor Richard's Almanac" slogan in itself! LOL

WHOA...ummm thanks alot ladislav. always helpful. It's very interesting to note this because I had a blast there when i was living there in japan for two years. The girls aged 17-18 would flirt. imagine going to a mcdonalds and all the customer service are women. they would ALL squash eachother at the front counter. and they would ALL say HIIIIIIIII to me. hahahahahha. i took this for granted. and i want to go back now. because i was young then. and did not have this experience with american women like i do now.

Leonardo Di Caprio or Brad Pitt...let me tell you i must be very very handsome then. I get flirted with by young japanese women in the 18-26 age range.

but at the same time i believe you.

Some of the super model looking japanese are DEFINITELY bitches. i have had mixed reactions from them. some are rude and ignore and walk away. while other model looking japanese will actually flirt with me.

i am the black handsome guy they like. i don't mean to brag. but blacks do have it good there. I had no success with older japanese ladies for some reason. it was always young women.

i really hope i can get married to one that believes in cooking and cleaning.

Well people can start scratching Japan off their lists, the radiation is a lot worse than is being reported in the mainstream media.

If a majority of the population does have to move once they realize it's unlivable there, what county would they move to is the question?

Japan is pretty much f***ed for the rest of the 21st century or longer...

Worse than meltdown, government report says devastating 'melt-through' has occurred at Fukushima; Official suggests Japan could become 'uninhabitable'

Thursday, June 09, 2011 by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) Recent reports confirming that Reactors 1, 2, and 3 of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear facility completely melted just hours after the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit the area on March 11 (http://www.naturalnews.com/032537_F...) have been trumped by even worse news that those same reactors have all likely "melted through," a situation that according to Japan's Daily Yomiuri DY is "the worst possibility in a nuclear accident."

And senior political official Ichiro Ozawa suggested in an interview with The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that the Fukushima situation could make the entire country of Japan "unlivable."

A nuclear core meltdown involves nuclear fuel exceeding its melting point to the point where it damages the core, leaks out, and threatens to potentially release high levels of radiation into the environment. However, a nuclear melt-through is an even worse scenario, as nuclear fuel literally melts through the bottom of damaged reactor pressure vessels into out containment vessels -- and possibly even melts through those outer vessels directly into ground, air, and water.

The report suggesting that melt-throughs have already occurred, which is set to be submitted to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), is the "first official recognition" of this dire situation, according to DY. It also confirms early suspicions that such a scenario had been underway all along, as later reports confirmed that the epic disaster at the reactors had produced holes in come of the plant's core containment vessels, and that radioactive water, and possibly even fuel, were leaking into the lower vessels.

IAEA has already stated that the Fukushima disaster is at least as bad as the Chernobyl disaster (http://www.theatlanticwire.com/glob...), but this new information now suggests that it is probably even worse. At this time, it is unknown whether the fuel that has accumulated in the outer containment vessels has seeped outside, where it has the potential to contaminate groundwater supplies and wreak widespread environmental damage.

In an interview conducted prior to the release of the new report, Ichiro Ozawa told the WSJ that areas around Fukushima were already becoming completely "uninhabitable." He also suggested that as it currently stands, much of the rest of the country, including Tokyo, could suffer the same fate if nothing is done to properly and effectively contain the situation.
