I think it's just around the corner. Anyway, let's discuss collapse/doomsday scenarios and get each other's opinions on this.

Americans tend to be very civil and outwardly polite, when the economy is good and there is a high level of employment. However, Americans do not tolerate discomfort very well and are not as resilient as many other cultures, IMHO. The US economy is at a serious tipping point and the real unemployment rate is around 20%, not the 9.x% that the bullshitting gov't tells us and the press feeds us. The magic psychological unemployment limit that the American people will tolerate is 10% and once it goes beyond that in the press, people start to panic. Thus, the gov't/press always keep it lower, so that the people stay calm and ignorant.

That being said, I think that a significant enough segment of the US population is starting to wake up and realize that they've been lied too for far too long and that the gov't has no real solutions, except to screw people for even more taxes. Thing is, even if you taxed every employed person at 100%, it still would barely put a dent in the national debt.

Once America starts sinking into 3rd world status (possibly started already), you will see just how many guns Americans have stashed in their basements. There are about 150 million registered guns in the US (as I recall), which means 1 gun per every 2 citizens. That doesn't even count the unregistered guns. In my opinion, America is about to become a VERY unhealthy and unsafe place to live. To top it off, the gov't is going to start trying to clamp down on dissenters and complainers in order to "keep the peace" and "fight terrorism". They've already made it clear that 3rd-party political types are considered "possible domestic terrorists".

Well the shit is going to hit the fan world wide eventually. But America is definitely unique and probably the worst place you can be as this decade unfolds. They have no more use for it. It did it's job for the Queen and is being tossed aside like a used condom.

One theory is that Obama will get re-elected in 2012 and be shortly taken out (if you catch my drift). Which will escalate into WW3, Usa (and British Empire) vs Russia (and China). Gog & Magog, remember the bible is their blueprint... 1/3 of the population will be killed..again, this is "prophecised" and has nothing to do with the NWO's dream to reduce the global population to 500 million (or 1 billion according to some of Obama's science czars). so after 3 years of pure hell in 2015 enters Price William at age 33 to bring peace to the world by disarming everybody and instilling global socialism which he is king of, ruling from Jerusalem. Syria, Jordan, Iran,etc. will be toast by then, Greater Israel taking its place.

The southern hemisphere will probably be immune to bombing and fallout which is why all the big players have been buying up land in South America and New Zealand last few years. I've read that the NWO wants South America to speak Latin (not Spanish) in the future. Who the f**k knows. Who knows what's going to happen, even they don't know. They have contingency plans which include a fake alien invasion. I think I said before on here that inventing aliens is the biggest mind f**k Hollywoods ever done.



Let's say none of this happens, and the world lives happily ever after. Fact is, economically, there is no way "back" for the USA. All that's left is poverty. I suggest getting the f**k out of here before your money isn't worth anything.

look at it's trade deficits. it's budget deficits. the place is a police state where only rich people matter. the rich will make sure they stay comfortably while the rest of the population slides into poverty. be sure of it.

basically it's not the place you want to be in the 21st century.

I've said the same thing about Yeltsin and the "Chicago Boys" that brought "Voodoo" econ to Mother Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. So now the top 1-4% in Russia own 90% of the wealth. Sound familiar? The only thing keeping the people off the Government is the social safety net in Russia, but even that is under-funded, see Forrest Fires from last summer...

Some American Media Outlets complain about RT talking about how bad America is (Telling the truth) while RT is just as critical of the Russian Government....

We are already 2nd world country because we do still get some civil projects done, but the rest of the infrastructure is falling apart. The wealth to income gap looks like Russia today (its the same economy) which I find extremely interesting since the FDR admin installed what is Germany's modern economy after WWII and the Marshall Plan.

But I'm tired of complaining about how "bad" America is and want to do something about it. There won't be anything done in America until blood is shed. The shooting at Kent and little known shooting at Jackson St pretty much called for the withdrawal of American troops from SE Asia. So until people are willing to stand up to point and die for it, nothing to change the mainstream media will continue to feed your mind with junk food.

In other words, how SOON do you think the utter collapse of America (and consequently the rest of the modern society worldwide) will occur? I believe it will happen within 2 years, from the amount of information I have studied (about 15,000 articles over the past 3 years).

Don't make the mistake of assuming that the collapse of America is going to devastate modern society worldwide. Not all countries are dependent on America and its economy for survival and prosperity. Some countries are prepared for the inevitable. Other countries will actually be better off.

I posted finance related stuff on here before as that is what I do. I've been studying it seriously for 4yrs and it's not good. I called subprime and sold all my stocks and house and now I'm callig this one too. Been planning my escape for yrs and leaving this week, ain't coming back either!

The simple finance of it is: the negative cash-flow (what we need to pay) exceeds the positive cash flow (what the gov can make). People (our lendors) wise up, they pull the plug, you can't refinance the debt, so you print money, but it's check mate any way you play it. You could just default on China, or default on all your oldies, or hyperinflate and pay everyone in nothing currency. All options suck.

But societies rise and fall, that's how it goes. The look of a falling society is everywhere here, people have lost it. Some of us can see it, cause we are the smart ones, leave, survive, and spread your genes elsewhere!

Get out *before* rush is always the game in my profession. Establish family and networks in your new country. There will be a jolt when it blows but countries with strong people and strong families/values will pull thru and come out better, nobody needs the USA anymore, it was a failed experiment...learn what not to do.

I posted the article below in another section of this site, it's a good one and will make one ponder what's going on behind the scenes. Regardless, there are numerous variables involved regarding the decline of the USA. It could drag out for another 15-20 years or it could collapse in under 10 years, who knows? I sense something is happening and that is why I am reluctant to return and currently researching 2nd citizenship options. I think the safest places to live will be in the Southern Hemisphere, but like someone previous mentioned, many of the elites know this as well. So the smart ones that get out, their descendants will probably have to deal with these power grubbing globalist ass holes once again once the dust settles. My personal feeling is that there will be a steady and slow decline over the next 2-6 years. After that it will start accelerating due to internal social strife due to the various economic and social conditions being imposed upon the populace. I think depending on who gets elected this could go faster or slower. If Obama gets elected it's pretty much over for USA. If a Republican gets in our decline will slow down a bit and be extended towards the later half of the decade. But the shit will still hit the fan eventually. Once the government enacts some kind of martial law due to whatever is happening, that is the warning that it's game over and hopefully all of you will have already gotten out of the country by then. Martial law is in the forecast for America, it's just that it may not be called that and be disguised as something else so that the typical dumb American doesn't really think its a controlled police state. If you start seeing our military doing typical police duties, that's another red flag.

What is Washington’s solution for the rising power of China?
The answer might be to involve China in a nuclear war with India.
The staging of the fake death of bin Laden in a commando raid that violated Pakistan’s sovereignty was sold to President Obama by the military/security complex as a way to boost Obama’s standing in the polls.
The raid succeeded in raising Obama’s approval ratings. But its real purpose was to target Pakistan and to show Pakistan that the US was contemplating invading Pakistan in order to make Pakistan pay for allegedly hiding bin Laden next door to Pakistan’s military academy. The neocon, and increasingly the US military position, is that the Taliban can’t be conquered unless NATO widens the war theater to Pakistan, where the Taliban allegedly has sanctuaries protected by the Pakistan government, which takes American money but doesn’t do Washington’s bidding.
Pakistan got the threat message and ran to China. On May 17 Pakistan’s prime minister, Yousaf Raza Gilani, as he departed for China declared China to be Pakistan’s “best and most trusted friend.� China has built a port for Pakistan at Gwadar, which is close to the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz. The port might become a Chinese naval base on the Arabian Sea.
Raza Rumi reported in the Pakistan Tribune (June 4) that at a recent lecture at Pakistan’s National Defense University, Husain Haqqani, Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, asked the military officers whether the biggest threat to Pakistan came from within, from India, or from the US. A majority of the officers said that the US was the biggest threat to Pakistan.
China, concerned with India, the other Asian giant that is rising, is willing to ally with Pakistan. Moreover, China doesn’t want Americans on its border, which is where they would be should Pakistan become another American battleground.
Therefore, China showed its displeasure with the US threat to Pakistan, and advised Washington to respect Pakistan’s sovereignty, adding that any attack on Pakistan would be considered an attack on China
I do not think China’s ultimatum was reported in the US press, but it was widely reported in India’s press. India is concerned that China has stepped up to Pakistan’s defense.
The Chinese ultimatum is important, because it is a WWI or WWII level of ultimatum. With this level of commitment of China to Pakistan, Washington will now seek a way to maneuver itself out of the confrontation and to substitute India.

The US has been fawning all over India, cultivating India in the most shameful ways, including the sacrifice of Americans’ jobs. Recently, there have been massive US weapons sales to India, US-India military cooperation agreements, and joint military exercises.
Washington figures that the Indians, who were gullible for centuries about the British, will be gullible about the “shining city on the hill� that is “bringing freedom and democracy to the world� by smashing, killing, and destroying. Like the British and France’s Sarkozy, Indian political leaders will find themselves doing Washington’s will. By the time India and China realize that they have been maneuvered into mutual destruction by the Americans, it will be too late for either to back down.
With China and India eliminated, that only leaves Russia, which is already ringed by US missile bases and isolated from Europe by NATO, which now includes former constituent parts of the Soviet Empire. A large percentage of gullible Russian youth admires the US for its “freedom� (little do they know) and hates the “authoritarian� Russian state, which they regard as a continuation of the old Soviet state. These “internationalized Russians� will side with Washington, more of less forcing Moscow into surrender.
As the rest of the world, with the exception of parts of South America, is already part of the American Empire, Russia’s surrender will let the US focus its military might on South
America. Chavez will be overthrown, and if others do not fall into line, more examples will be made.
