To bad she grossly mismanaged her life, she started going down hill after she met Bobby Brown, she could have had any guy she wanted and she picked him. Interesting to note, Bobby Brown/New Edition was a successful upstart band in the Boston area. Bobby's always been known as the *Bad Boy of Boston*, even during his early years, whereas our other famous international act, Aerosmith, were the wannabe 'Bad Boys' and were more posing as such, w/ attitudes, outfits, etc.

All and all, Bobby's behavior patterns were observable a mile away. Heck, even as a kid growing up, I knew that he was bad news, even before 'My Prerogative' made him a household name in America. Thus, Whitney's not much different than many other AWs, always desiring the wrong guy, in place of let's say the right guy, as in her fictitious husband in 'The Preacher's Wife'.

As far as my personal thoughts on WH, with her fame and money, she got to live 100 lives in her short 48 years, so there is no reason for people to be upset and make a big issue about her death.

I made a video about this topic on Youtube. Yes she was not like the person she played in videos and movies. And she was a thug lover with Bobby Brown who did incidentally change after they got their divorce. Then supposedly she got with Ray J Brandy's brother a man way younger than her. They showed video of him and her in a limo kissing and she looked like she was strung out on some kind of drug. I never understood why Ray J would go for something like that. She is a symbol to most American Black Men that Black Love is indeed dead!

I'm so tired of hearing about WH. I can't believe that a junkie pop artist gets this much coverage, more so then a US soldier or the various 911 first responders that are still sick to this day and are dying.

And all the fans who want to attend WH funeral are a JOKE. How can people be so dumb and concerned? WH did NOTHING for these people (never paid a light bill, rent, or anything for them) but yet they stand outside in the cold for someone who never would even acknowledge them in real life. Fine, she's pretty and has a fine voice, but she's more or less, her '86 debut album on auto-repeat, for her whole career.

Since the BBrown connection came up ... remember the classic rock band, 'Boston', also from Bobby's hometown? Did they really do anything better than 'More Than A Feeling', in other words, their debut album from the 70s?

And Boston's lead singer, Brad Delp, had committed suicide a few years ago, and is now joined with Whitney in that R&R/R&B heaven. Both Boston and Whitney have made their names as the two artists with the most successful debut albums. In both cases, neither went anywhere afterwards, either personally or professionally.

Yes, and I'm from Boston as well. I don't mourn for Brad Delp. I was, however, initially surprised at his passing.

Everyone knows she was an obnoxious crack head, I do think she may have been a little lagging on the hoeing part.
