Why do Americans do the "eh-hem-hem-hem" clearing throat side like this [after they have a discussion]? It's like they were telling a lie in the first place.

This phenomenon has begun in the last few years.

lol it probably comes from the fact that in america you HAVE to be nice to people even if u don't mean to or want to.... maybe folks do this without being aware showing their true feelings "body language speaks more than words" (i also n noticed americans tend to greet others like "OMGGGGGGG HOW ARE YOUUUUUUU!!!!!) but in reality they don't really care about seeing you.
