I think NLIP has been to the Philippines, but for reasons I cannot fathom could only get a couple of leechers. Or perhaps he thought that his blue passport and sense of entitlement would get him the hottest middle class 20-yo's to drop on his lap. I think it's a common attitude with Americans, and not just in the Philippines: delusional, extreme expectations that immediately turn into extreme negativity and frustration when they're not totally met.

I have been to the Philippines and it has been a completely different experience for me. I befriended some of the smartest and most powerful people in Davao City as well as "poor" (yet rich in spirit) young women and men who impressed me for their simplicity, humbleness and courage. Tolerance and an open mind is obligatory when it comes to a different culture. Going there with the sole intention to bang is beyond ridiculous. I also believe he has simply been there too long for what his purpose really is. Going for sex and women solely is gonna end disastrously as well as fraternizing with bar girls. Its similar IMO to watching too much p**n. You begin to lose your touch with reality and expect real life to be like that. The 6's he was satisfied with before no longer do it. He need's an 8 and when he's finished with that he won't settle for anything lower than a 10. He has become immune to the average women there simply because she doesn't fit the mold visually. A symptom that isn't entirely his fault but arises from the circumstances he's put himself into. Where as other guys see the country more than just a sex destination. They embrace the culture, form friendships, and see the beauty in the laid back society. They settle down with a good wholesome girl that makes them happy. What motive would he have to make up bad experiences anyway? I've never discredited his experiences and I feel they are real and genuine. The problem arises when he negates absolutely everything everyone says and acts like his opinion is above everyone else's. He does this through insults, misinterpretations, and opinionated stats that have no backing. He fails to take advice from others who have succeeded and discredits their experiences without knowing the situation. The "oh you have a filipina, then she must be ugly, scammer, after your money, or a single mother." I've met several couples to know that's not always the case, or even necessarily the norm. Instead of just leaving and going somewhere else, he's adopted this mentality that he should tell the world that the place is awful, you really can't be happy, and you might as well stay home and jack off. He's had bad experiences and continues to have them, there's no doubt about that. But it's no secret that not everyone does well in the country or anywhere for that matter. Certain mentalities and attitudes do better abroad than others. If he's unhappy then leave and join one of those forums where people bitch about stuff like this. The forum is Happier Abroad for a reason.

yeah you do make a good point. I know when i go home ill want those 6's and what you also said earlier. Actually 6's are not that bad if their personality etc is what im looking for but it has to be almost perfect for me to be happy just with a borderline girl for me to come all this way and spend all this money and away from my family. I prefer higher than that but my current gf is a low 6 by my standards but im not too fond of her personality or status she is better than a lot of girls and all don get me wrong but I liked my old bargirl better than her cause of her attitude and she was slightly more attractive. Some other girls ive met i thought had a less likeable personality then my current gf though so thats probably why ive put up with her for 6 months despite some fights etc along the way.

Correction though Ive never said no one can get what tehy want if they do cold approaching or spend months here and date a lot of women and form friendship. But thats hard to do when one knows they are here only temporarily and they are burning money and time. I still work online and i have to keep up on my work everyday and it costs a lot to stay here and it can get aggravating if you just wind up trying to cold approach and date regular good women they are busy schedule and i have to keep up on my work and its hard chasing or going on lame dates a lot only to find out it goes nowhere with a lot of them. They are slow to open up and by the time they do you find out yo dont really want them and your wasting a lot of time. I think one has to live here long term not just a few months but long term to really settle down mentally and find what they want. If you stay here for only a few months or less your still in vacation mode in a "rush" to find to keep you company while your away.


I think cold approaching is the best method but Im not really interested in doing that. Its just hard to get what you want from online dating. Also youll wind up with a lot of scammers and hoes and milfs no matter what approach you use and it can be discouraging. I dont have teh patience or desire to try to do that. I could wind up blowing a whole vacation and all its expenses and time with meager results if i attempted that. It takes a lot of work and patience to find a very attractive girl who treats you really well and all its not as easy as some people imply. Most of the guys here have low standards on women though. I can settle on the looks a little though if the girl has an amazing personality and the sex is great it depends on the package overall. Its hard finding a cute girl who has an amazing personality etc or a hot girl with a more so so personality that isn't a milf or scammer. im happy with a girl over 6.5 if her personality is really good and the sex is great and she loves it alot. I dont need a model.
