Travelers' notes of appreciation

As I have travelled around the world, I have noticed I have picked up some of these. People write notes to say they are happy I crossed their path. I have just thought these were nice, but it occurs to me that I am selling myself short, because for these people to write the notes, I must have contributed to their lives in a positive way, as they perceive it. And for everyone that writes a note, maybe there are others who think the same but don't say it. Or maybe not. But I hope so. Here is an example of a note I got that was written on the back of a beer mat

"Cornfed u are 1 of a Kind so good 2 meet you creep home you look after yourself See you again soon Keep in touch. Signed _____ & _______ PS don’t do meth and weed do miss you bro keep in touch"

In hindsight, it warms my heart to get this kind of thing, and it should be regarded as a trophy
