Yep. That's the epitome of western civilization. There is no structure for good guys to get a women. The system of caste was created in India, precisely for these reasons so that few rich, good looking men don't end up with all the women in the world. In the west, its like 10% get 90% of women. Caste system is not the best...it has its own faults but it is the best system for 1: 1 ratio.

The Conquerors of India, totally projected caste system in a different light to the west. Even Kamasutra is just one chapter form a book called KamaKanda which lays down guidelines on how to live with a women. Its not about sex.

Clubs. Bars, Speed Dating, Tinder, Facebook is the option that is available to men in the west....Its so shallow, Its a freaking Joke.....That's the ultimate structure west came up with...finding women in bars or online to be your wife...

So at CU, even though there's a 2:1 female to male ratio (once you include the cross-registered Barnard gals), it's a complete abyss, as far as relationships go.

In time, my prediction is 2025, all of the USA will look like Columbia. Men will simply opt out of dating, as women will be too psycho for any normal guy to handle. What IT will provide, however, is surrogate partnership through virtual reality a/o android sex 'bots. That's our future.

I must agree with you, Parc. Although that sounds like a real dystopian future to me. If the vast majority of men are porking sexbots in VR, what happens to the future of our species? I expect a massive depopulation to occur. Perhaps the radical environmentalists will finally get what they want?

Right now, more and more developed economies, like Germany, are having reduced birth rates. This trend isn't abating anytime soon.

When my Columbia University theory goes critical nationwide, I'm predicting 2025, the technology for sex 'bots and VR worlds, will be there for the general population.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that many women claim to want to have a child (w/o a guy around), the truth of the matter is that many women are irresponsible and in reality, don't want to actually raise the offspring. I suspect that some future pharmacological treatment, like women getting some oxytocin derivatives will give them the glandular sensation of having had a child, without actually having them. If so, then yes, as a species, we're done.

The trends of the developed world take a long time to filter down to the developing world. And because of the limitations of energy inputs, the developing world will never completely be able to reach the standard of living of developed countries.

Currently the trend of declining birth rates has hit most of the world, except for Africa and the Middle East. Even India is going way down. But this trend will change over time as the availability of fossil fuels is reduced and people are forced to return to an agrarian way of life. I don't expect it to happen all at once though. More like gradually, over the course of our lifetimes.
