Disgusted by NYC Subway

I decided I should get down to see NYC this summer before it's over.

I took the subway to get there. And the second I sat down, I was regretting taking public transportation.

I just thought to myself, "Yeah, this railing has been touched by thousands of other people today alone. Better not touch hand to face today. Ugh" (just remembered. Better go take a shower now.)

As soon as I got there, I bought some hand sanitizer and glopped it on. Then I glopped some more on.

SO yeah, I guess I developed some kind of germophobia. Yuck.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same? I guess it would have been okay as long as I hadnt taken the subway. Or maybe it is the fact that you can barely walk down the street without bumping into strangers cause it's that crowded?

I'm from Boston MA, only ~4 hours north of NYC, and I believe that the Big Apple's subways are disgusting pits.

Now granted, Boston's not heaven on earth but it's considerably a lot cleaner and nicer than NYC.

I live in Brooklyn, New York and the subway system is disgusting.

A lot of the immigrants (mainly illegal immigrants) do not have good sanitary habits. Also, the blacks usually are filthy, too.

Bicycledays your views of the NYC subway system are way overblown. NYC in general is the cleanest its I have ever seen. All traces of the 1970s/80s NYC have been erased.

You fail to mention that "the blacks" wake up at 4am daily to keep the NYC transit system clean and running. They don't have time to jackoff to online porn or troll of forums like some people. They drive the trains/buses, just about all of the station cleaners in over 450 subways stations are Black women, the token booth, the train yards, you name it. Also save your affirmative action nonsense as we know who that benefits the most (the women who don't give some people the time of day).

The L and 7 trains were voted the cleanest in the city. The L train makes 25 stops HALF of which are in Black neighborhoods. That's plenty time to dirty the cars (they are only cleaned at each end of the line). The 7 Train is entirely "(mainly illegal immigrants)"

The subway is facing and exploding rat population and I guess "the blacks" are responsible for that.

People of all races/ethnicity are dirty and tacky on the subways why single out those two groups. As common on this forum you see what you want to see you seem to have a biased agenda. Are Black people and the NYC subway system responsible for you lack of love life? Ever with her spitting you would hook up with the filthiest but hot illegal immigrant girl (of any race) in a second but you lose leverage because they are here already. Lets not do this
