Layers of Control

Post by Nailer »

If young men started abandoning the west, it would collapse pretty quickly. (I do not think this is likely.)

These are the layers of psychological control you have to pass through before you decide to look elsewhere:
  • Be a liberal! It's what good people do! You want to be good, don't you?
  • Be a conservative! All your problems can be explained by economic theory and a 300 year old piece of paper! Those damn liberals and their socialism, grrrrr!
  • Take the red pill! Become a pickup artist! You can still win, as long as you keep buying gym memberships and consumer bling! DHV, yeah buddy! Also, never develop an emotional bond with a woman, because that would be gay.
  • Alright, alright, society sucks, you can't win, and women are completely evil. Become a MGTOW, just remember, AWALT!!! It's not better anywhere else! But f**k 'em, you don't need women! YOU DON'T NEED WOMEN, AND YOU CERTAINLY DON'T NEED TO REPRODUCE.
It's interesting that the first three layers at least offer some carrot that never materializes. The last layer of control literally offers nothing, so the only way to present it is some Buddhist-like liberation from desire.

It's frustrating that this problem is HUGE and it is universally ignored. Imagine how many movies are going to be made in the future about this nightmare dystopia we are living through right now. It truly is the ultimate taboo in the west.

The biggest one is the ubiquitous meme: "wherever you go, there you are." I.e., if you have dissatisfaction in your life it's a personal problem, and is resolved only through changing your attitude and effort. Changing your location will have no effect whatsoever.

I don't know whether it's true or not -- my main man Ralph Waldo Emerson said it 150 years ago -- but it seems to me the woman situation is a simple matter of consumer demand and supply. The supermarkets here simply have empty shelves.

More like the shelves are stocked. I just don't want the product, nor the price tag.

Women are there if you are prepared to pay the price and give them what they want. Which may likely include your house and car.

I just look for the specials with 30 day return. Usually i find the product is flawed and return it. The ones that say pay a deposit and gold and diamonds, no refunds, i walk by. I simply dont need such big ticket items.
