Why Wives Want Way Too Much Intercourse

I worked construction for a little while when I was in my early 20's.

One of the construction workers said,
"What's a four-letter word for 'intercourse'?"

I didn't answer. Maybe I said something like my Momma taught me not to say such things.

He accused me of being dirty minded and he said the word was 'talk.'

Women seem to like that kind of intercourse. If you are both facing a stressful situation, she wants to talk about it. If she's having PMS, she wants to talk about it. If you haven't spent much time together, it's not, "Let's go to the bedroom", necessarily. It's more likely, "We haven't spent much time together. Let's talk."

I suppose there is some individual variation with women. But I think a lot of them, even the quiet ones, when they get alone with their husbands want to talk.

I heard something on the radio a while back. The verbal center of a woman's brain is connected to the pleasure center of the brain in a way a man's isn't. That explains why a stressful situation may want to make a man want to do something passive like watch TV, or something physical like work out or play sports. But a woman wants to talk about it. That's where she finds some pleasure and relief.

So don't let anyone tell you that husbands want intercourse more than their wives.

I never understood this story about only men want sex. In my experience every woman wanted it as much as i did.

Of course they also want the blah blah that goes around it just so they dont feel like sluts. They have to dress it up in romance and true love.

I feel like I'm not really living here, in America...like a bad feeling. When you think about it.

Do you think if you lived in another country, you'd feel like life is more meaningful. Living in another country is an adventure, but it is also stressful. It's not a cure for depression.

Your posts remind me of Charlie Brown's internal monologues sometimes. It would probably help not to dwell on the negative thoughts and pray for peace.
