The phrase "He's off his meds" is totally American.
I'm sure many guys who post warnings on the Internet or who would tell other guys to stay away from American women, or who cries or throws a fit over being isolated and alienated by every single woman would get slandered with the phrase "He's off his meds!" And normally in that case, the term "meds" means antidepressants. In fact, I'm even sure that if a guy in America gets rejected and hurt to the point of breaking down and crying, especially in a public place, not only would not a single person even bother to comfort the guy, but every single bystander would start saying; "He's off his meds!" And America clearly is the only country in the world that would put a depressed, isolated person on drugs instead of getting him into a social group, again as though it were a capital felony under Federal law for strangers to mingle.
