Covid and hindsight
Covid and hindsight
A few years ago my job as a rent-a-cop was to enforce security precautions that annoyed lots of people. At first these policies had a semi-plausible basis, but then the powers that be kept changing their policies, seemingly in a way that was designed to antagonise people. I assumed at the time that the powers that be must have been crazed morons, but in light of the scamdemic I’m not so sure. I think the bad guys were carefully testing what people would put up with and what people like me would enforce in order to assess just what they could get away with with this stupid virus hoax. Did anyone else notice any equivalent of this in their locality?

Re: Covid and hindsight
The thing that comes to mind first are the draconian drunk driving laws. The states all decided a few years ago that you would be destroyed financially by a conviction, unless you're wealthy. And they did their best using the DUI laws to put night spots out of business, stationing cops right outside looking for victims. A few bars survived, so the scamdemic should finish up the job there.
Re: Covid and hindsight
OK so in hindsight we could consider that a precursor. Anything more immediate and obvious?gsjackson wrote: ↑August 26th, 2020, 5:15 pmThe thing that comes to mind first are the draconian drunk driving laws. Re: Covid and hindsight
Teachers at high schools being required to lock their classroom doors once the bell rang to begin the first period after lunch, and tardy students in the halls swept by the large monitor brigade into detention. Cops handing out expensive tickets for the pettiest of traffic offenses, like rolling through stop signs. But the former can be explained by the fact that "students" are an unruly mob that needs to be controlled, and the traffic cops are just trying to fill the city's coffers. So no, no obvious precursors I can think of. It was a complete mugging from out of the blue. Why don't you tell us what you think were clearly precursors.Cornfed wrote: ↑August 26th, 2020, 5:49 pmOK so in hindsight we could consider that a precursor. Re: Covid and hindsight
The thing is that there weren't any clear precursors and there weren't any people like me who thought they were precursors. I just thought I was doing my job. Shame that.
Re: Covid and hindsight
A lot of chain store closings before the lockdowns though business was good. And the push for cashless shopping.

Re: Covid and hindsight
We obviously don't have the violent riot situations as in the US but a telltale sign of the rapid deterioration of the democratic discourse in the directions of "a-critically gobbled up propaganda" and "sheeple silent consent", is the complete and utter subservience of the current political and institutional community, and their presstitutes, to the Covid globalist agenda.
You know well what this means: spread panic and fear about Covid being, once again, out of control, hitting younger and younger patients, especially those returning from a clubbing night or a beach vacation, and that no respite from this worldwide tragedy will ever be possible until Saint Bill Gates or other big pharma entity will bless humanity with a vaccine, ovbiously at $10,000 a dose or something.
Doesn't matter that ICU units are as empty as before the Covid pandemic started last January, that virtually nobody is dying with the virus anymore, especially now our doctors are proactively treating patients with hydroxychloroquine regardless of what Lancet or the OMS say.
To make things worse, the Italian parliament had the bronze face to create a special "committee against fake news", purposely designed to elevate the mainstream press mouths as telling the ultimate, undebatable truth, while silencing the dozens of excellent alternative news outlets, often run by far better journalists as those running said mainstream press, by labelling them as "fake news sources". It's got so bad that they are actually threatening these alternative outlets, virtually the only sources of reliable updates and critical thinking, with legal action if they keep spreading news contrary to the accepted thruth: Covid is still killing, we need more lockdown, we need worldwide populace to be mass-vaccinated before things might return to a semblance of normalcy, etc.
Any surprise we are always coming on top when it comes to complying with the elite puppeteers' orders, silent and obedient? Even our anthem says something that stands sadly true now as it did in 1850.
Noi fummo da secoli
calpesti, derisi,
perché non siam popolo,
perché siam divisi.
We were for centuries
downtrodden, derided,
because we are not one people,
because we are divided.
The good old "divide and conquer" strategy has been working particularly well with us, and that from the barbarian invasions since 400 BC.

Re: Covid and hindsight
Agree 100 percent, though Uncle Sam is apparently picking up the tab completely for the death jab. If it comes to market. There are those who say Trump is going to let the farce go on right up until the last minute before calling it all off. And if you have any doubt about whether Trump knows this covid thing is a scam, go to about 19:10 on this video and check out the reaction of Trump and Barr to the stupidity of Elizabeth Birks. Most encouraging thing I've seen in many a month.hypermak wrote: ↑August 26th, 2020, 11:56 pmWe obviously don't have the violent riot situations as in the US but a telltale sign of the rapid deterioration of the democratic discourse in the directions of "a-critically gobbled up propaganda" and "sheeple silent consent", is the complete and utter subservience of the current political and institutional community, and their presstitutes, to the Covid globalist agenda.

Re: Covid and hindsight
Hard to say if Trump is genuinely on the people's side, or just another, more histrionic, puppet of the elite. Big pharma stand to make tens of billions of dollars for their shareholders from sales of Covid-19 vaccines that might wind up being worse than the disease. That's a pie every figure of authority in any country in the world, from Japan to Botswana, from a countryside doctor to the country's Prime Minister, would like to stick their fingers into.gsjackson wrote: ↑August 27th, 2020, 10:33 amAgree 100 percent, though Uncle Sam is apparently picking up the tab completely for the death jab. Airport security. After 9/11, they could have just give pilots guns to solve the problem (like hydroxychloroquine for Covid) but instead they chose humiliating airport security enforced by government bureaucrats. Once people put up with this, the Covid lockdown was the logical next step.

Do the head Jews have anything to do with this ?fschmidt wrote: ↑August 28th, 2020, 11:51 amAirport security. Re: Covid and hindsight
Hindsight is 20/20. That proverb is especially true when it comes to Covid-19. I would have done some things differently but only the things that were entirely in my power to do differently.
