Are men giving up the rat race in America and Canada?

Post by Mew6ix »

What if are they dying from overdoses, suicide, poor health etc?

There is a huge talk of a labour shortage in the blue collar work.

Probably because those jobs require a skilled trade or healthy man to do jobs which many Millennials and Gen Z don't want to do, for example, bricklayer or plumber.

Sometimes I feel like why join the rat race when a man can be falsely accused of sexual or workplace harassment and get canned the next day, and worse, blacklisted from the industry? Happened a lot in Canada.

What I don't hope for is any Trudeau increasing immigration quotas to pick up the slack. Instead, we should educate the aspiring newcomers that they are needed to work in blue collar jobs, which many don't want to do unless they are coming in the country as illegal undocumented migrants.

I gave up the rat race in Canada in 2012 and have no regrets.

My life improved tremendously after doing it and typically spending 6 months a year in Canada and 6 months in the Philippines for the past 10 years. I miss the paycheques and employee discounts but that is about it. I don't miss the boss, coworkers, schedules, income tax, depressing Canadian winters and pathetic online dating. The freedom and amount and quality of women I have had for the past 10 years in incredible and I don't think it would be possible for me to ever go back to the rat race again.

Good for you. I guess that's possible here. Just work 6 months in America and then the rest of the year in Mexico or South America doing a remote job.

Yes, alot of men are now realizing that it's not worth contributing to the shithole western society that hates them and is rigged against them. The U.S. and Canada have made it very clear that they hate men unless they are good looking drug dealing Chads or gangbanging Tyrones. Normal beta males who actually work and contribute to society are considered bad now because they don't arouse women as much as degenerate criminals. The social contract in the U.S. and Canada is broken now so there's no point in working and being treated like shit and having no wife, no family, and being told you're a bad person for existing. Many men are now dropping out and realizing you might as well just do drugs and play videogames rather than being abused by this sick western society.
This should be required reading for young men living in the Anglosphere cuntries.

This is a Canadian feminist's worst nightmare.

The current state of Toronto is where men prefer to overdose and die than to work as an enuch, and fork over almost everything to the elites in the rental and food industries. That is worse than serfdom. At least the majority of male serfs in feudal Europe had sex.

America is like a nationwide military boot camp! Like a nationwide version of MCRD San Diego. The pace of life has been accelerating over the past years and decades, and it's gotten to the point where people are burning out. They just can't keep up with the accelerating pace of life anymore. In modern-day America, people expect everyone to work 10 to 15 hours a day, 365 days a year, 7 days a week. They expect you to stay on the 24 hour hamster wheel schedule that repeats every 24 hours and is governed exclusively by the rotation of the Earth. Unfortunately, as required work hours continue to expand and everyone in the work zone shoves co-workers to speed up their pace again and again as if they are in fact at MCRD San Diego, people are burning out. Example, with bricklayers, bosses are shoving their workers to do bigger and bigger projects in less and less time.

I wish we had a "Like" button here. But I agree. Huge turn off in the US is lack of any social support aka long holidays, vacations, maternal leave, reliable affordable healthcare. If you actually get sick in America expect to become homeless. No employer tolerates long term absence in the U.S. They will find a way to get rid of you. Life in Europe is way more relaxed. Employees in Europe provide a minimum of 20 paid vacation days every year and usually up to 30 days of paid or partially paid sick leave. Also there is paid 6 months maternity leave. Who in their right mind would want to raise kids or even start a family in the U.S.? You can't find a good woman, if you do find one you have to constantly "work" to keep her happy and if she just decides to leave you - you lose everything. While you are stressing out making money you are unable to fail because you will literally lose your life, your family, your kids, your house, your wife, along with your job. Family used to be all about support, not the case anymore in the U.S. Having a family in the U.S. is just another layer of stress, your wife is not your friend, your kids have no ability to roam the streets, but live inside their phones until they get their driver's license.

At this point I see absolutely no reason to stay in the U.S. if your goal is to have a family besides making enough money saved to expat. Marriage can only be somewhat safely done outside of the American legal system.

Sexless boot camp where men are not allowed to flirt with American and Canadian woemen. Such a cruel fate worse than death itself.

You couldn't have said it more correctly. And not only is there a lack of long holidays, vacations, maternal leave, etc, but there are no weekends off anymore! Americans these days are at their jobs all 7 days a week. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. In modern day America, there is no longer such a thing as being happy on Friday anymore, as Americans know that the day after Friday is yet another day of work. It's gotten to where even what day of the week (whether it's Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, etc) it is is totally irrelevant. There is no longer such a thing as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's birthday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, or 4th of July anymore in America. There is even no longer such a thing anymore as "Monday" or "Friday" or "Saturday" anymore. There is only such a thing as the same repeating 24 hour schedule governed by the Earth's rotation. Get up at 6 am, have breakfast, hit the road, beat all the trains, get to work at 7:45, work until 9 or 10 pm, then go home, have dinner, vacuum, and go to sleep. The only thing that has become relevant in American life is the time of day. Getting hit and killed by a train while on the way to work is seen as even a happy compliment to American employers.

Guys, if you even find a woman in the USA, you better even get a job at Paramount Pictures or Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, and you better get her one of those huge mansions in either Beverly Park or Hidden Hills. And when she decides to leave you, including because you have been outbid by another bidder, you lose not only your home, kids, and everything, but even your freedom as she can have you arrested and thrown in prison, and she'll get a restraining order on you. And then you can never visit your children anymore, the children are never allowed to visit you, and if you do in fact visit your children, you get arrested again and charged with violating a restraining order and also contributing to the delinquency of a minor. And they tell you; those kids are no longer yours anymore, and that if you visit them, you will be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and potentially required to register as a sex offender.

what's the point of life, if prostitution is not legal and so you can't just pay money to f**k hot 10/10 women a couple times a month? Marriage is also a useless scam, at least people have finally woken up to it and realized that marriage is nothing but a trap.

Drugs should also be fully f***ing legal. Funny how religion, government, society makes the fun things in life illegal- prostitution and drugs.

And then you wonder why men have no will to work anymore. What are we working for, if there's no fun to be had in life unless you wanna risk getting arrested?

This entire f***ing modern society needs to f***ing burn.
