I was doing fine and then got a notification that TikTok was draining the battery due to excessive power usage in the background.

I was not using TikTok. I rarely do.

It also happened during a specific activity.

I was watching a WION video with "China" in the title and it's about China and Taiwan having escalating tensions.

I think that I definitely caught TikTok spying. They probably have a stealth AI running in the background and when certain words are entered, their AI Spy monitors, records, and reports.

What do you think? TikTok spying for the Chinese Government or a random coincidence?

It is possible. How many of these apps are running in the background and then sending our personal information stored on our phones to who knows? Do they have access to our cameras and microphones?

That's why I say uninstall any unnecessary apps and check the permissions.
