Does having a high T level make you more attractive to women?
Could the key to attracting women be as simple as having higher testosterone levels? Do women really prefer men with more masculine features, and does this translate to higher levels of testosterone? Let's discuss the science behind this controversial topic.

Re: Does having a high T level make you more attractive to women?
I remember seeing a hula dancer who looked probably Japanese in Hawaii once at this little 50's style show at an apartment-hotel, right next to the Hilton just before the fireworks. I remember thinking she was very feminine, but she wasn't especially pretty. For me, if a girl isn't pretty, but she's feminine, I don't find her particularly attractive. But if a girl would otherwise be pretty, but has masculine features, like a big jaw, big shoulders, maybe even too deep of a voice, it renders her not attractive. But other men go for such women. Even hefty girls who would be plain if they were skinny can get guys.MichaelUNseW wrote: ↑July 8th, 2024, 7:56 amCould the key to attracting women be as simple as having higher testosterone levels? I suspect that there are some women who would want a man to have good-looking features in addition to the masculine features, and some who are so attractive to the masculinity, that overrides the other issues. I suppose there are women who like delicate men whose features they find attractive, too. I'm thinking masculine traits, etc. is a plus, but there is also individual variation about what women like.
And I read in a psychology book that people tend to pair off with those who they consider to be on an equal level of attractiveness to themselves. When I was looking for a woman, I was kind of oblivious to my looks and just wanted a good-looking woman. I remember this really tall American friend of mine was concerned he and his shorter Korean girlfriend might look funny together. I remember thinking I didn't care about that at all. As far as looks were concerned, I just cared that the girl was good-looking.
I remember my Grandmother talking about how she didn't think Kirk Douglas was particularly good looking, but he was a 'strong' man, and apparently that made him attractive. My wife doesn't think Dwayne Johnson is especially good-looking, but he is attractive because he is masculine and has charisma.
Women's thoughts and feelings are a mystery. We are a bunch of guys, so we have to go by conversations with women, surveys, research, and female reactions.
