You should be confident in yourself anyway, my good man. You don't need validation from anyone else. If you have confidence in yourself your SMV will automatically improve.

I was diagnosed with body dysmorphia a decade ago so her validation really helped.

Was she overweight with curly hair and maybe on the early side of middle aged? A woman at a gas station told me 'Your a very good-looking man" a while back. But this one was pumping gas, not working there. But who knows? Maybe its the same woman who hangs out at the gas station and either works there or pumps gas so she can tell men they are good-looking.
