Marriage, Babies, Foreign Women and Being 40+

Post by djfourmoney »

I was reading this - http://pewsocialtrends.org/2010/11/18/t ... i-overview

The Decline of Marriage in the US, when I was curious about another cultural phenomena -

http://www.suite101.com/content/when-is ... nt-a207844

With a 1/2 hour until the Raiders-Steelers game I have time to post this - :D

I come away with this:

I think its more of a woman's fault she is not married and pregnant by age 30 is she's attractive and single. As the Pew Study found and something I have known about for quite some time, more women have entered the workplace. With increased opportunities, they hit the books and get degrees. Then complain about not getting the same type jobs men get in White Collar world.

This has today's Gen X women (born after 1970) career focused, more than family focused. It is true they no longer need men for anything. For income, not even for child birth. These are by far the most narcissistic women in our short history.

I think we all agree with that, so we seek Foreign Women.

With the second link, according to researchers men are also responsible for possible birth defects in children. Given the way American Media tends to operate, I'm not sure the numbers match up. I still say and according to the March of Dimes, older women having children is mostly the problem, not the quality of sperm from an older man.

With American Women holding onto tight age gaps (2-5 years) and with birth defects increasing dramatically after age 30 in Women, I have very little choice. I've been shouted down by older women who of course don't want to be told they are no longer viable as birth mothers. They always bring up example of women up to 40 or so having healthy children. But I always say at what cost? Most of these medical miracles of modern science are not cheap and with our flawed health care system; having a child is already expensive, why should it cost even more by trying to have children with somebody over 35?

Any thoughts on this?

Djfourmoney, we are going to become a very lonely society if we don't restore the traditional marriage. So I tend to agree that we should become more family-centered instead of self-centered.

Go to Haiti where a girl has 5 children by the time she is 22. In the Philippines, my friend's wife's mother is around my age and has had 12 children. My friend's wife is maybe 18 (they are Muslim so they can marry at puberty) and they are going on their second.

Well, I think we should not concern ourselves with US women under or over 40 problems. Let them solve those by themselves on their discussion boards and help each other.
We should discuss the topic of us being 40+ and that is a non issue for men. It just keeps getting better and better for us if we are in the right country and have money.
I am 50 and I date ladies in the 18-24 category. And they like it. If I ever want to have kids, then I can make them until the day I die. Just like Hugh Heffner. And screw the rest! ( pun maybe intended)

Beautiful! I love the idea of being in my 50's and still being able to date 18-24 year olds! :D When I get to that age, I know I will most likely have to be living not in the US but in a more man friendly and tolerent country like the Philippines, Brazil, Argentina or eastern Europe if I want to date 18-24 yr. olds.

I wouldn't mind marrying and having children (when I am in my 50's) with a young hot foreign woman like the young lady below: :D

The older you get the higher the income gap between your GF and you must be. When you have enough green to cover your grey, things change. Hugh Heffner was in his 80ies dating some 20 year olds. So what gives? And he had a castle somewhere. Somehow his age did not matter but yours and mine does. Strange. Oh, wait a minute! He had money and fame! There we go! Now we know the secret! But when you are in some faraway land and a foreigner - that is instant fame and when you exchange your $$$ into local currency- that means you have money.
There come the girls!

PS. Oh yes, and keep in mind that older men have been loving younger women since time immemorial. Cause that is when they can provide. So concentrate on having a positive cash flow. Lots of it. You can't be 50 without it. And women can smell it on you.

You gotta get out of the states sooner rather than later cause the longer you delay and the older you get, the more difficult it is to get up and change careers or establish a new lifestyle in another country. Cause the dollar is going to be worth shit pretty soon and it will become harder for those to save up enough money to leave, you may be stuck in the states due to not being able to afford leaving in the first place. You either have to set up some kind of online income stream or have enough educational credentials to be able to teach overseas somewhere. Those are about the best options for the average person.

Having more money when your older does attract women, but you still need to look halfway decent and have some kind of career or credentials for women to take you seriously. Most will just play you for your money and talk shit about you behind your back if you look like an old slob who just has a lot of money. Seen it in many bars here. They will just act nice to get your money but they really would rather go out with the younger, more attractive guys.

I agree, I just find it interesting and so many dismiss it as it not being a fairly serious issue.

Another reason I want to marry a Western European woman is the Life to Work balance.

I won't make any decisions until I have my plan in motion and know where I am going, it will very interesting to have women from all over the planet interested in me seriously and have to make it make sense travel-wise.
