It's been here for years, its called Testosterone Injections. It's pretty effective as birth control and when combined with female birth control in your partner....it's extremely effective.

Of course Testosterone will never be prescribed for male birth control. It will only be prescribed to those with low-testosterone levels and only by cutting edge/open minded doctors. If they ever do come out with a "legitimate" male birth control it will very likely be more harmful than low-dose Testosterone however...

There's a natural way to inhibit sperm. The reason your testicles are on the outside is that they have to be kept at cooler temperatures for 100% function. Having a steamy hot water soak or bath may inhibit sperm production.

I wouldn't bet on Japanese condoms -- they're always too small in my experience. They fit a smaller guy.

The best condoms I've tried were German... "Sico" brand. But they're not available in America.

Interesting. I wonder why this is not more well known? So many guys get vasectomies when this seems so much less invasive and less painful.

You can make a smaller condom work, but, at least with US condoms, it is pretty damn uncomfortable. It's a struggle to get them on, once they're on it feels like your dick is in some awful sort of death grip, and the friction tends to lead to a higher failure rate. Regular trojans, lifestyles, etc offer more options and thinner material, they're better condoms and I'd use them if I could, but the simple fact is I've never had a failure with a magnum and the better fit more than compensates for thicker material. Zero failures alone is reason enough.

And in response to why men don't know about the gel based injections, it's because they're still in the FDA approval process if I remember correctly. Once it's approved, I think it'll catch on quite well.
