Are any of you celebrating christmas by exchanging gifts? Lol. What a stupid materialistic tradition. Why would i need junk like that when i can buy junk myself if i need it? Lol. Its so obviously commercial.

Yeah it's lost all its character. It's good to limit Christmas gifts to kids only.
1)Too much of one thing defeats the purpose.

I agree about the gift giving, but what I love to do is feed my guests, cook epic meals and entertain. Yesterday I smoked a few birds in a charcoal pit. stuffed the peasant birds well with potato mushroom stuffing, then stuffed them in a smoked duck, then stuffed him in a smoked turkey. Smoked them again wrapped in banana leaf in the pit, then let them sit and set for our epic christmas dinner. Sides were all simple roasted veges, mushrooms, hot bread rolls and assorted sauces. Easy meal because everything cooked together, meat in the pit, sides in the oven, sauces on the stove. 8) in laws made us desserts.
