Had a dream I was flying to Shanghai, so this has been stuck in my head.
China
Cities
Shanghai
Beijingh
Which is better and more english friendly because I don't know **** about Chinese.
Japan
Cities
Tokyo
others
Heard Japan is expensive, but I found a 600 dollar round trip ticket to Tokyo. I would imgaine them being English friendly a little.
Singapore
Speaks english and a small country.
Canada
Vancouver
Montrael
Idk about these places, but they seem awesome
USA
Seattle
Las Vegas
Denver
Boston
DC
San Francisco
Probably the least stressful cities to visit, but are the overall cheaper?

Well I haven't seen every city in the US yet and the Northwest is gorgeous. Ya, Singapore was kind of low on the list lol.Ghost wrote:If you go to a major city in China it will likely be fairly cheap (considering how far across the world you're traveling.) Living there would be cheap too. Why would you want to go to the U.S.? I thought you're already from the U.S.
I've been to Singapore briefly. I would rather have gone and explored NYC.

It is easy to enter first to Japan and later on to continue to Shanghai, Taiwan, Singapore, Bangkok etc.Mr.Darcy wrote:Had a dream I was flying to Shanghai,

There are plenty of cheap flights daily from Japan to China, South Korea and to South East Asia. Why not to visit more places?
It depends less on your budget, more about your time.... for sure I would consider to visit more than one country in Asia...

Because of this thread, I decided to check some ticket prices and hotels. I just realised I could have spent the last two weeks in Japan for cheaper than I spent going to Shanghai!
I thought Asakusa was a rich area, but I am finding quite few hotels for $20 to $30 per night on Expedia. Is it because of recent economic troubles that such great deals are suddenly available? Last time I was in Tokyo $30, or so maybe got you a capsule.
Crap. Now I may have to seriously consider a quick Japan trip before I head home.
