Millions of Americans are buckling under financial and societal pressures as the U.S. steadily declines into a third world country. The cost of living, goods, and services continue to climb but wages don't, leaving millions of hard-working men and women feeling hopeless and on the brink of losing everything. Homelessness is at an all-time high, and so is debt. People are unhealthy and our access to healthy food is being stripped away from us. All these things spell disaster not only for our country, but for our future as well.

I have tried to tell people this for years, people thought I was crazy.
@3rdStoneObliterum
I was born in New York City and I have been to 38 countries. I have lived 16 years of my life outside of the United States. I work for 8 years in Asia alone, 3 years in Turkey, one year in South America.
The most spiritually empty and mentally ill Society is right in the United States

My husband and I are not American,but we have many friends over there and visit often.We told them this was slowly happening but they used to laugh at us,some even got upset and bothered by our concern on what your country was heading to,they even told us we were jealous. Jealous of your medical system, when health care is free in my country? jealous of having a meagre ten days vacation when I have an entire month in summmer ? jealous of working 60 hours a week when I work 37? jealous of retirement at 70+ when I have the option of retiring at 60 with my entire salary? come on!!
please dont get me wrong: there are wonderful things about your country in some aspects,but the American dream for humble working people to have a decent happy life died more than forty years ago.
@BoostedPastime
I can't afford to live in my own country.
@daybyday-365-4U
Success for me was never marrying, no kids. Worked hard, saved and invested and retired early. I am no longer in the matrix. Sold my house, most of my possessions and moving overseas. I spent time in Vietnam earlier this year and enjoyed it. I plan to explore other countries before I settle on new home. It’s just ridiculous here in the U.S.

"The system is not designed to take care of you, it's designed to extract from you."
@archuk6058
they call it the American dream, I call it the Great American scam.
@PureBloodWNC
My man, you are hitting the nail on the head. Please stay safe, the powers that be don't like your message.
I'm 51, a disabled veteran, living in a homeless shelter for veterans. I'm rebuilding. Your message hits home! I bought a sprinter van, it's mine, I own it. Now I'm saving money to convert it into my traveling home. Nothing and nobody will ever make me homeless again!

Now i see why many gringos are moving here in Mexico, in the USA people are treated as consumers not as human beings, in the USA you have to use the car for everything even to get milk in Mexico there are small business everywhere and you can walk to get what you need that keeps you healthy, in the USA people don't walk thats why Farma companies are getting richest
@PhoticSneezeOne
The mindgame and propaganda of framing everything that is remotely beneficial for the "bottom 99%" as being "communist" worked out great for the top 1%
The nationwide Pikachu face will not fix this situation.
@BroHDarkCaBo
I'm from the Netherlands...
After covid, everything is getting more and more expensive every year here too!
This really makes me worry about the future of the Netherlands and Europe...
I don't have a family to care for and I don't want to at this point, because it's getting worse and worse out here...
I hope I'm wrong and the future will be better for all the kids that are born and raised right now ❤

Hi from Scotland

this is happening to all Western countries. All done on purpose, but we're all aware of that.

@AuthenticityMG
Right!!.
England in

is exactly the same way.
@briankelly85
has anyone noticed that the darker the country gets. the worst it gets.
@russellthechemist8291
Same in the UK. For goodness sake don't get sick in the UK. The doctors are on strike, the waiting time for surgery is in 'years'.
@jrpark05
I agree that America is a morally and spiritually bankrupt country that worships the almighty dollar and shuns merit and goodness. However, I think you're looking at other countries with rose-colored glasses, because, and you even refer to it, the incomes in many of these countries are much less than ours. Their prices are high in comparison to their incomes, while to us they are low due to the relative strength of the dollar and our incomes.
Also, there is community in many of these countries because there is no safety net, and privation and with the very real threat of hunger, homelessness, and in many parts of the world electricity, running water and/or plumbing communities form because they have no one but themselves. It was a lot like this in America, especially during the Great Depression, and even in non-depression times. You can see similar values to those in other parts of the world in our Greatest (WWII and Depression) and Silent (immediate post-WWII and Korean War) Generations.
It's unfortunate and human nature, but most people cannot handle prosperity without losing their minds. America has lost its mind, and much of the West as well, but don't think for a second that the same wouldn't happen in other countries if they began to prosper. I have lived and worked overseas for over a decade, and I can tell you with certainty that the parents and kids of America-level wealth have many of the same problems Americans have.

Sister lives in SF but had to do multiple trips to Mexico for dental work. Prices for things is out of control.

I got sick in Portugal and I was able to see a doctor for free.

Welcome to the prison you just don't see the walls

Sad but true! Southern California is like Northern Mexico.
